I just realized how many of the same people were there for my second time seeing it on Broadway, even though it was a year and a half later (well, except for Derrick, who was just back for those couple of weeks between Sebastian and David)

1. Kyle Dean Massey - you would have never guessed he was an understudy! I really enjoyed his performance.
2. Aaron Tveit - vocally, he blew his competition away - such strong vocals. Acting wise = generic.
3. Derrick Williams - overall, his performance was great - both dancing, singing, and acting.
4. Clifton Hall - saw him twice and I just felt like something was missing overall.

Madame Morrible
1. Alma Cuervo - overall, she played Morrible perfectly - just the right amount of creepiness.
2. Jayne Houdyshell - so creepy as morrible! great intensity in the role!
3. Carol Kane - she was good, but nothing stood out in her performance to me.

The Wizard
1. Ben Vereen - love love love him! great stage presence and great performance all around.
2. PJ Benjamin - very good overall, but nothing singlehandedly stands out - just a solid performer.
3. Lenny Wolpe - he played the wizard almost TOO fatherly throughout the entire show.

1. Deedee Magno Hall - ahh, hands down the strongest Nessarose ever, imo - her vocals are great.
2. Jenna Leigh Green - loved her acting and she had an overall very good performance.
3. Cristy Candler - i was a tad disappointed - her vocals were lacking and she overacted a bit, imo.

1. Robb Sapp - i loved him so much - he was brilliant as Boq
2. Ben Liebert - very great chemistry with Cristy, and had a very solid performance!
3. Brad Weinstock - it took me a while to warm up to him as Boq - not bad, but nothing stood out to me.

1. Sean McCourt - love him, great acting and he played the part very solidly.
2. Tom Flynn - very solid performance overall - had a somewhat rememberable performance
3. Steven Skybell - very good, but nothing special in the role - somewhat forgettable.

Ash, I saw you had Aaron Tveit at the bottom of your list. I've only seen Wicked once, so I can't compare him with anyone, but I thought he was amazing. Especially since I don't really care for Fiyero.

^The truth is that I should revise my list. I got to see Aaron again in October, and REALLY enjoyed him that time...I'd actually say that he was my favorite with David Burnham now. Either he hadn't broken into the role back in August or he was having an off-day, but once I saw him again in October, I was truly impressed

I know right! that was one of my favorite performances. Dee was great! Brad believe it or not stole the show. Even though I didnt really care for Erin, I loved her NOMTW.

I'm kind of jealous. It's sad they were all leads together for only a month. Brad is the best Chicago Fiyero, hands down.
