One of the security guards that works by my condo does all the maintenance, and he uses a personnel-like telescoping hydraulic lift. it is very similar to the lift used in Defying Gravity.

I'm thinking about asking him if I can use it.

But. I don't know.

Nope. Not going to happen. It's illegal for anyone other than Elphaba to use it. It has to do with Legality issues & insurance.

If this were about the ACTUAL lift, it was talked about a lot before. No one is allowed in it, except the actress playing Elphaba.

What about in the case of when it was on Jeopardy? That was just some random person in the lift.

They allow a few people other than the actresses to use them for publicity, but after they sign a waiver and such. Like how Valentine was able to ride the bubble in LA.
