I've known about this since before Cristy's casting was announced.

Cristy is "leaving" because she was contracted only temporarily until Jenna could make the transfer (since she wanted to stay on tour until her full contract was up.) She's known this since the start.

I know at one point, they considered having Cristy go to tour to replace JLG, but I am guessing she passed on that, since Jen Waldman was cast as the replacement.

Someone asked when.... I heard Jenna's possible starting date could be March 21st, which would make Cristy's last March 19th. It isn't for sure or anything yet but... that is the date I heard mentioned.

i've wanted to see her play the part. maybe i'll be able to fly up and see her.

I'd love to see her live as Nessa and Elphie (maybe both together...?). Maybe I can bump into her on "accident" before I catch the opening of ACL.

OK so I just read the whole thread and I'm REALLY excited!!!! I might get to see her in Wicked on April 8th providing we win the lotto!!!

I didn't know that yet, but it makes me RIDICULOUSLY happy... I saw her in Hartford and loved her, and my friends and I talked to her afterwards and she was SO SWEET!!!!
