I'm curious. When did you see them together? I've heard they had amazing chemistry! This must be my third or fourth time asking for you to expand your opinion-- I'm always interested in it for some reason! What did you think was lacking/missing from Erin and Dee? Sorry to pick on you... again!

I saw them on April 25, 2007. They had some chemistry, but I was expecting more. Maybe it was because it was Wednesday matinee. Erin seemed tired and Dee was holding back in general. Also, Erin is naturally a lot more charismatic than Dee. Their voices sounded good together though and the cornfield scene was well done.

I've only seen two pairs, but the chemistry with the first was fantastic. I honestly didn't expect it, considering the age difference.

All three pairs were fabulous. Not once did I see a performance where chemistry was lacking. Eden and Megan worked off each other the best I think. They interacted well and you could just see the spark in each of their performance. Carmen and Katie both had a very strong stage presence and you could see it in their performance. They played off each other very well, especially in 'Popular'. Julie and Kendra were by no means bad but since they didn't perform together as much as the previous two pairs, you could still see a sort of distance. Overall, each pair was fabulous in chemistry though, it was hard to rank them.

Hmmm... How have I not done this yet?

Remarkably, every pair I've seen has had really strong chemistry; I've yet to not feel the connection. Even Marcie and Christina were remarkable together. And this is quite different than the last time I ranked the pairs on a different site, but I re-thought some of the shows I've seen.

Kerry and Kendra nearly had me bawling during For Good. I thought they were awesome.



Once the tour comes to Ohio a few times I'll have more of a list!

Dee and Annaleigh during Popular had me laughing out loud! I had seen the show 9 times by then and once was already with Annaleigh. They just have the best chemistry

Carmen and Katie throughout the whole show I was mesmerized by there... "flavor" they add.

After seeing that mess of a show on Tuesday night I would say that Marcie and Alli would be on the bottom of my list. But it was their first show.

Steph and Annaleigh still have the best chemistry IMO.

Kerry and Katie Adams weren't far behind them.

Julie and Katie have great chemistry also even though I have never seen them together in Wicked I have seen them together in a few benefits. One of the most emotional For Good's I have ever witnessed.

I've seen many E/G pairs, and the three groups at the top, to me, had much more chemistry than Eden and Megan.

Do you guys think it will be alright to have a similar thread, but for pairs we haven't seen live? Just pairs in general, live and not. Because some pairs we haven't seen live are better than what we have seen love. Just wondering.

Double post, but here are my explanations.

1. Idina Menzel & Kristin Chenoweth
Their chemistry is so perfect that you have tp see it to believe it. Their voices blended perfectly, they worked off each other perfectly. Their chemistry was as good as it gets.

2. Lisa Brescia & Annaleigh Ashford
Their voices so so gorgeous together. I haven't heard a pair blend so beautifully since Idina/Kristin. They seem completely comfortable with each other and they just fit together.

3. Eden Espinosa & Laura Bell Bundy
I only saw them together for half a show, but I was blown away. They had a very natural chemistry and their voices blended very well. I wish they'd gone on together more.

4. Carmen Cusack & Katie Rose Clarke
Their chemistry wasn't amazing and their voices could have blended better, but what made it work is that they clearly trust each other onstage. I could sense a real connection.

5. Ana Gasteyer & Kate Reinders
I remember thinking that they worked really well together and had good chemistry, but unfortunately I don't remember any details. That's why they're ranked below Carmen/Katie.

6. Idina Menzel & Laura Bell Bundy
The first time I saw them, I thought they were amazing together, but I had no one to compare them to. The second time, Idina was overpowring Laura. They weren't evenly matched.

7. Maria Eberline Kendra Kassebaum
They had chemistry, but nothing about it stood out. They both overpowered each other in different ways. I don't remember much else. Their voices didn't blend.

8. Dee Roscioli & Erin Mackey
Their chemistry was kind of boring and they both overpowered each other. I just wasn't feeling it. I didn't sense any connection during "For Good," especially on Dee's side.

I have to update this again.

I saw Marcie's last show and her chemistry with Alli was the best I have ever seen. They were very close in chemistry with Steph and Annaleigh(who I still think has the best)

I also saw Chelsea with Alli and their chemistry was great also. I think it helped that they are almost the same age (if not the same age) and just looked right together.

Talking about chemistry while I think Julie and Marcie had no chemistry at all with Kevin. Chelsea had the best with him and ALAYM wasn't nearly as creepy as I thought it would be. It was very good.

Ooh. You saw Marcie's last Broadway show...? Review, please!

1) Christina DeCicco and Victoria Matlock (it was their first time on together - and Christina's first time on ever but I was super impressed)
