Update again since I saw Dee and Annaleigh and Nicole and Alli in the last few days.

Steph and Annaleigh are still at the top but Dee and Annaleigh came thisclose. Nicole and Alli have great chemistry also. Especially in For Good. They were both crying ALOT. Nicole had great chemistry with everyone in the cast. Especially Aaron Tveit. Their ALAYM was smoking HOTT!

The above 4 blew everyone else away in terms of connection and chemistry. The only pairs that come somewhat close are Idina & Kristin and Steph & Kendra. This could have something to do with the fact that I've seen the above 4 pairs the most out of anyone, therefore I've been able to judge their connection and chemistry very well. Then again, Eden & Megan's chemistry jumped out at me the first time I saw them. As did Marcie & Helene's. Hmm.

Carmen and Katie are insane together. I fell in love with the show over a year ago because of their amazing chemistry. They have such a beautiful thing where if one of them starts to cry the other one knows that she has to step up and be strong. One For Good Katie's tears will be wiped away and the next Carmen's will. Katie cried watching Carmen fly in Defying Gravity. Carmen cried in Popular when Katie kissed her head. It is impossible not to see how much those two love each other.

2. Marcie Dodd and Helene Yorke x13

The first time I saw these two happened to be their second performance together. You never would have known based on their chemistry. They are so, so much fun to watch together on stage and you can tell that they both love performing with each other. I saw them many times, so I loved watching some of the little things they'd do - like for example: Helene is affectionate and she loves holding Marcie's hand. There are some scenes where I think Marcie isn't as used to holding onto her Glinda at that point and I could see her changing and remembering to reach out and hold Helene's hand. Just little things like that stand out when you really start to watch a cast. During the last few shows in Ft. Myers Helene starting cracking Marcie in For Good. You know you've reached a certain point together when there are tears in For Good. It was beautiful to see them reach that point (though they did cry in their second ever show together). Plus, Marcie and Helene have the cutest curtain call I've ever seen. I've never seen two people look so excited, and it was every single night. They also dance together at curtain call.

Well, you know that the chemistry wasn't amazing in your mind when you can't remember anything. I think I was just so excited to be in Pantages. lol I remember that their For Good was pretty to the script and not nearly as emotional as I would have liked. Then again, I went from seeing Carmen and Katie to them. I think I was expecting more and I was a bit let down. I still enjoyed the show, though.

I don't care if this is an unpopular opinion, I've felt more emotionally involved in their shows and their chemistry on Alexia's "last" was so touching and incredible and I cannot wait to see them back together.

Didn't rate them at all the first time I seen them but the other two times they have been fantastic and are so cutesy with all their interaction

3. Ashleigh Gray & Dianne Pilkington x1
I was so surprised at the chemistry they had, it was amazing. Their For Good was the most beautifully acted I've seen for a normal show.

4. Kerry Ellis & Sarah Earnshaw x1
Again, was surprised at their chemistry. They were so touchy feely and they really did seem like best friends. I was really amazed at them,

Was the first time I seen Sarah, and I fell in love with her Glinda but I really missed Alexia/Dianne. Although they had some nice moments and it was nice to see Alexia with a younger Glinda. I cannot wait to see them again to see if my opinion changes.

7. Cassidy Janson & Dianne Pilkingtonx1
Again, they had some nice moments but I can't really remember much from the show. For Good was beautiful though.

1. Alexia Khadime and Dianne Pilkington
I honestly think these two are hugely underrated. They have such a brilliant rapport, it wasn't there so much at the beginning but it's grown over time. Their "last" show together was my favourite show ever. I think that Dianne's Glinda evolved a lot because of Alexia. Their portrayals compliment each other. They vocally blend together perfectly and I always look forward to For Good and What Is This Feeling to hear their harmonies. I'm pretty sure they will always be my favourite pairing and I'm so glad they were reunited.

2. Sabrina Carter and Dianne Pilkington
I was not expecting their chemistry in the slightest but Sabrina pulled out a softer side to Dianne in some scenes. They seemed like best friends. And it was all very natural and not contrieved at all. I loved them together.

3. Kerry Ellis and Dianne Pilkington
Well purely based on chemistry, they were cuter than most of the other couples as you could see how genuine their friendship was. While I think that others have got a better performance from Dianne, it was always a thrill to see her and Kerry together and I enjoyed them a lot.

Both are equal. Sarah brought out the best in Kerry in my honest opinion. They were a lot cuter than I expected them to be and it was my favourite Kerry show that I seen. They had a marvellous chemistry, while not as natural as Kerry/Dianne, they seemed more like Elphaba/Glinda as apposed to Sarah/Kerry.

Ashleigh and Sarah were also brilliant. I had expected them to be a bit more touchy feely than they were but they seemed so comfortable on stage with each other. Their For Good was fan bloody tastic and while I'm still not keen on Ashleigh, seeing her with Sarah was briliant and I'm glad I got the chance to see them perform.

I have exactly the same problem with these two. I've seen both twice and in both instances, I've LOVED them the first time and disliked them the second. I think my problem is with that I've seen much better performances from Sarah and Dianne with other people. I'm not keen on how either pairings vocally blend either. It kills me cos I'd love to say I love Alexia with anyone I see her with, but I didn't. I'm more than willing to give both pairings another chance though.

6. Cassidy Janson and Dianne Pilkington
I feel mean putting these two at the bottom but the truth is, as it was my first show, I remember nothing about their chemistry in the slightest so this isn't a fair judgement on them.

The only pairing I really didn't like was Alexia & Sarah. and I can't really remember my CJ & Dianne show. But the other 5 are very close!

The first 5 are so so tight. I find these decisions the hardest to make.

1- Nicole Parker & Alli Mauzey
1- Cassidy Janson & Sarah Earnshaw
These are joint first because they were just so natural together. You could tell they were best friends, and that was great. But a side from the chemistry, their singing voices complimented eachother so well & they brought out so much in eachother's acting sides.

3- Idina Menzel & Helen Dallimore
Their chemistry was beautiful to watch, and they also brought out so much eachother acting-wise. I just feel their voices didn't blend as well as the two above.

4- Kerry Ellis & Dianne Pilkington
Chemistry wise, they're worthy of being first. But they're only #4 because I didn't like either of their portrayal of the roles.

5- Ashleigh Gray & Sarah Earnshaw
They could have been a bit more intense on the chemistry front, but like with CJ, Sarah's voice was complimented by Ashleigh's powerhouse voice. Loved every second of the show that they were on stage for.

Their chemistry was a bit forced, but it's obvious they knew eachother off stage. Their voices blended slightly better than Kerry/Dianne but not as well as other pairs.

7- Alexia Khadime & Dianne Pilkington
I saw Alexia when she was fairly new & Dianne didn't know Alexia very well, and towards the end of her run. I feel that their chemistry at the beginning was like them being put on stage without a rehearsal; they didnt know each other's boundaries... I wasn't keen on early!Lexi's acting or Dianne's portrayal, so that dragged them down a bit. Their voices complimented eachother nicely though.

I saw CJ's last show, so CJ's performance was quite emotional, so if anything less intense than it could have been [but still amazing]. And Dianne's portryal I'm still not keen on, so this put them this low down. I found their chemistry wasn't the type that you would expect two people that have done well over 30 shows with eachother would be like.

9- Shona White & Helen Dallimore
I saw one of Shona's first shows, so her & Helen hadn't had much time to get to know eachother off stage so they had no real chemistry. Also, Shona's voice didn't blend well with Helen's IMO. And I didn't rate Shona's performance, so that's why they're at the bottom.

58 actually, by my reckoning Which I suppose would strengthen your arguement. But as someone who saw a third of those shows I never had a problem with their chemistry, even if it wasn't on the CJ/Sarah level.

It does strengthen my argument, but it's interesting to read your thoughts because obviously, you saw them more than I did, which mean's your opinion is more reasoned than mine, but I think that their chemistry wasn't as strong as I thought it would be. I do think that they did have some chemistry, just not much, if you see what I'm saying.

I loved Chloe/Alexia together. As I don't rate Sarah/Alexia together at all, I went in with low expectations and was pleasently surprised. While I don't think their chemistry was brilliant, it was decent and I really liked how Chloe's acting choices complimented Alexia's Elphaba. I was really pleased with them and SO happy to see Alexia with another Glinda.

I'm happy Chloe finally a chance to go on!

I'm seeing the show in June; I'm not sure if Dee and Erin will still be there, but I'm hoping they will. Whoever my Elphie and Glinda will be, I will be so happy with it!

The only Elphaba and Glinda I know are Idina and Kristen because, of course, of the cast album. But I love them. I wish I could see them LIVE, but I'm grateful for them in general for originating these roles!
