Four great castmembers are departing the Los Angeles company of Wicked, including my favorite Boq ever. Lol. I never got to see Marcie as Nessa... or as Elphie. I hope she has a blast on Broadway in the 2nd National Tour.

When I walked to my seat in June after having read the white slip of doom in my playbill, I was not sure what to expect with Laura, but I fell in love that day! I'm rather bitter she won't be doing SF with Teal, but she'll be an asset to the Broadway company as standby next year. As for Teal, I'm going to miss her bitterly next time I see the show in LA. She is phenomenal, and I hope she goes to a *certain* production next January... *cough cough*

I'm saying goodbye to my favorite Nessa, Boq, and 2nd favorite Elphaba and Glinda. I wish I saw Marcie as Elphaba, but I'm lucky to have seen her as Nessa, and she's by far the best Nessa I have ever seen. She's a sweetheart and I wish her nothing but the best things in life and hopefully I'll see her in Wicked again one day or in another show! I wish her the best of luck on Bway and on the 2nd National Tour! I can't believe she's gonna be heading off the second tour! Michael is a very cool guy and is one of the best vocal Boqs IMO and his acting in both acts is perfect! Laura Woyasz: My first Glinda that is not Megan! Haha, funny way of listing her! Honestly, this girl needs to be lead. Her acting is PERFECT. The only way I can describe her is acting wise she's like Katie Rose Clarke, as in NOMTW she trys to act happy but then starts to lose it, and it shows, and it's gut wrenching! She can be silly to the extreme, yet also can show many layers and can be so emotional. She's such a perfect Glinda. And her voice melts out of her mouth! So pure, beautiful and strong! She doesn't even have to try. She's a beautiful person inside and out and I'm really gonna miss Laura. I wish her the best of luck on Bway! I know Bway fans who will see her will love her! I really hope she'll be lead Glinda one day! Love you Laura! And finally....Teal Wicks....what can I say? Sweety, you better come back to Wicked (Wicked SF please and thnx) or I will cry. Haha but seriously, I knew I would love Teal as Elphaba even before I had seen her live or heard a bootleg. When I saw a video of her doing a show in UCI, i just saw a gorgeous and super talented young girl who I knew i would love as Elphaba. And boy, do I love her as Elphaba now. I don't care what others say about her, I am so honored to have seen her live. She's beautiful, her voice is super amazing, riffs galore, I love her acting and she's a sweetheart at stage door. She acts like a silly high school student and is so appreciative of her fans. What more can you ask for in an Elphaba or person? Teal is just amazing and I am seriously hoping I can see her last show! Teal =

I'm gonna stop, as I'm getting emotional lol. Lame, eh? It's just that I have enjoyed Marcie, Michael, Laura and Teal's performances so much, and they're wonderful performers and people. They're just beyond amazing, and I wish them the best in life and I hope to see them all in the future in any production, because I really love them all!

So with Teal and Marcie leaving who is gonna be the standby and understudy for Eden?

I never got to see any of them(well I will see Marcie and Laura in NY) but it's always sad when people leave a show.

Eden will be lead, Vicki Noon (Chicago u/s who is AMAZING) will be standby, and I believe Angela Reda(sp?) will still be u/s.

I'm incredibly sad about Marcie. I think she is phenomenal as both Nessa and Elphaba. I was honored to see her first as Elphie here in LA and she was amazing. I remember her INTG truly touched my heart that night. I only wish I could have had a chance to see her again, but I am soo happy she's doing Bway. I wish her the best and hope I get to see her on tour!!
As for Teal, I really hope she returns to Wicked one day soon because her portrayal is extremely touching. I personally feel her acting is insanely strong and her voice is one of the few to give me the chills. I still remember sitting there after her DG and me and the stranger next to me both turning and looking at each other at the same time and saying "WOW". I'm definitely going to miss her tons!!

Best wishes to Marcie, Laura, Michael and Teal! I'm so excited that Laura will be the new Glinda standby on B'way and I'm sure Marcie will do wonders in her Broadway run.

I'm ecstatic for Marcie and Laura to come here! I can't wait to see both of them.

I wish the best for these talented performers! I've never seen Teal live, but I've heard nothing, but good things about her.

My first Elphaba and Glinda pair are leaving! Sad, but can't wait what the future has in store for them!

My friend went to their second to last show today. I'll have to ask her sometime this week how it went.

So, the new Boq starts tomorrow and we still have no idea who he is? Why do Wicked producers despise us fans? And if Teal or Eden miss a show this week-- which won't happen in a million years-- will Angel Reda go on? We have no standby till next week, lol. I miss Laura. Hope she sends me fanmail back!

I'll tell you, but I need an hour, a bottle of Rum and pot stickers. Not necessarily in that order.

Don't take it so personally. The production sees no reason to announce a third replacement Boq for the L.A. company, especially when he is not a "name".

Just think of it this way: We'll find out tomorrow.

I am so sad they are leaving! Laura and Teal were the first Elphaba/Glinda I saw and I thought they were fabulous! I met Teal last week but didn't catch Laura. I'm still sad that I didn't meet Laura. Is it too late to send them mail requesting for a signed photo?

So Eden's first day is tomorrow...?

No! Eden and Megan started rehearsing today and their first performance together again will be on Halloween.

A friend of mine who was there tonight said that Teal wasn't able to go on - lost her voice due to laryngitis. Angel Reda was on instead.

She missed her own last show? That hasn't happened since Idina fell through the trap door.

so I ended up winning DEAD CENTER seats for the lottery!!! I went from having last row seats to front row :] I was ecstatic. That was until I caught word that Teal was sick and it was very likely she wouldn't be on. My heart sank when I saw that understudy board that confirmed what I already knew. At least we know that Teal is opening SF though, I will be making a road trip. So sad she didn't even get a curtain call speech, I personally think they should have read the note that she left for everybody. Goodbye Teal. :[
