In The Grimmerie, it says that there are a couple hundred (can't member the number off the top of my head) special kind of wigs, and there's only one prosthetic one or something like that...and it says we have to guess which one it is...and I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT! :drunk:

No, most of them are made of real hair, and one of them isn't real, I think was the actual thing

I don't think Elphaba's is a real wig...very few people have hair that long, lol...and, maybe a Glinda evernow and then doesn't wear a wig, it depends on the actress

they all need wigs to hide the mikes and to change the hairstyle. hwo can they keep their hair ready for a scene if they mess it up by putting a wig on for the scene before? i think its the wizards since his hair is really thick and spikey

I don't think that Kristin wore a wig. Because she was talking about them fighting over her hair length. Or was that the length of the wig? I haven't read it in a month

she was talking about the wig, no one goes on stage with their own hair unless youre bald. EVERY SINGLE HAIR IS A WIG! maybe some of the ensemble dont wear wigs for shiz, but that would be where they drew the line. Morrible and Glinda need wigs because the hairstyle changes in almost every scene. have you all not noticed?!

WITF- glinda has a clip

I think i figured it out!! I saw on a ensemble members website, him with members of the cast and there is actually one of him with the girl dressed up as dorthy at the end, she actually wears a full on blue and white checked dress although we dont actually see it and her wig is kinda crappy looking, i bet it is hers!! Cause we never see it so why spend the money to make a good one we only see the shadow!!

I wish i could and really wish i would have saved it but i just found it while looking around on a search engine, it was a different picture and i went to the link and it lead me to it.. I wish i knew what it was i will look for it again!

I have that length of hair, and it's black, and I donated it to locks of love in second grade...um yeah...it was like past my waist.

yeah i agree.. and if you look in the grimmerie, you can see mdme. morribles each strand which is funny.. and same with kristin chennoweth..

The styles changed based on who is playing it. Kristin had straight hair. But ALL Elphaba's, Glinda's and Morribles wear wigs. I think Norbert is the only Fiyero to have worn some kind of wig, because he is balding.

I also think Joel wore a hairpiece, because his hair was white when in real life its gray.

i had gottten my grimmerie about 1 week b4 i went to dance camp taught by the cast of wicked. i read my grimmerie and saw that statment about the wigs. so

on the last day of camp i asked jenna leigh waldman wich one it was. and she said it was boq's silver tin man wig. makes sense

I don't think Boq wears a wig for that scene, whenever I see him come out for curtain call he still has silver spray in his hair >_>...or maybe I'm wrong?

I am pretty sure its the dorothy wig. becuase if you look at back stage photos its one of those you plop on ur head. not the ones hand stranded. Also the Boq tinman "wig" to me isnt ocnsidered a wig. its more of a head piece as dillimonds, and the Fiyero Scarecrow headpiece
