i was reading a post and it made me think back to a couple of monthes ago.

relatives from new york came down to my grandmothers house. i was talking about how i like broadway so much and one of my relatives comes up and told me that one of my cousins from new york is the producer of a show and his wife makes the jewelry for the show....

guess what the show was.

oh oh i know shoshana. she taught me in an acting school and i stay in touch with her. i got to go backstage with her to meet the cast. it was a lot of fun.

oh i also met steph and the rest of the wicked cast does that count? i have some numbers...?

see hearing all this awesome stuff makes me curse the small hick infested town i live in where nobody appreciates theatre!! :mumble: and they have no class or desire to leave and see whats out there!!! GAHHH *runs around screaming* :fit:

I'm aquainted with a few people in all three casts, but not enough to ask for any kind of backstage treatment or the like.

that's awesome. I have a rather round about connection: my friend's uncle's friend's wife works on the costumes for Wicked everyday. and so my friend's uncle's friend told her that the next time she saw Wicked to tell him so she could get backstage- I'm jealous- and I'm still trying to get it to apply to me ;-)

Wow, that's so cool! Maybe you will be able to go with your friend if she goes backstage. I wonder if the woman who works on the costumes has any fun stories????

one of the kids i mentor at school, his uncle is one of the producers. he went backstage last weekend and met Eden and everything.

she worked in denver before her famousness happened, i loved her she was so nice. she directed a couple plays with me and some other stuff about 7-ish years ago.

fun!! I've met Shoshana (my dream come true!) Megan, David (my future husband) and Michelle!! Does that count?

Oh and my mom's good friend, Susan, is friends with Stephen Schwartz!! <----Major connection right there! If he went to the Gershwin more than like once a year I'd ask Susan to ask if he'd let me go backstage. :?
