I'm actually
very impressed with it. I love the gears--and the TIME DRAGON, holy crap!!--and Chistery and the other flying monkey...And I love the detail in the dresses! The bubble dress is beautiful, and I love the layering on Elphaba's dress.
I absolutely ADORE this snowglobe, I think it's
beautiful, but I seriously wish it didn't cost $125. The others only cost me $75.

But I SOOOOOOO want it. I have the other two, I neeeed this one.

I thought right away it was probably modeled after Eden and Megan.
Pretty, but not worth $125.

OMG before I even scrolled down the page, I right away thought of that picture! I totally think it looks like them! I might get it just because it looks like Eden and Megan lol.

How can anyone say that it looks like eden. The head is .2 inches big (I checked), all green, & the majority of the view is the back.

anyone know if it is the same size as the others or is it a bit bigger?
PS it could also be the kendra julia for good pose too

Just the position the Elphaba and Glinda are in make it look exactly like the Eden/Megan LA For Good picture. I can already tell it looks like Megan. But anyway, I think it looks like them, you can go ahead and have a different opinion. If you said it looked like SJB and Kendra, I wouldn't question your opinion.

^ Mazel Tov, you found many For Good pictures. Like samiam1432 said, I also right away thought specifically of the Eden/Megan one. Also, it's not the same poses. The same poses are the Eden/Megan one, Caissie/Megan one, Lucy/Amanda and Teal/Erin one. The other ones are different. They're For Good pictures, but not the same. Honestly, i don't know why you brought all this up and felt like you had to question what we thought. We simply thought it looked like Eden and Megan. No big deal. Why does that bother you?
Also, I think the Glinda really looks like Megan because she has Megan's big smile unlike other Glindas who look upset.

The way Elphie is holding Glinda's hand so close to her chest is what reminded me of the Eden/Megan pic, and I also sort of see a resemblance in the Kendra/Kerry pic and that first pic (Amanda and Lucy?), but not so much in the other pics. Eden/Megan is just the first one that came to mind. However I'm not sure I quite get that the figures look like certain actresses, but to each their own.

Whoa, why so antagonistic? They were just pointing out that that's a pretty standard "For Good" pose, give or take a hand clasp.

It's not even that, he has a right to his own opinion by thinking it doesn't look like Eden/Megan. What i found sad is that he questioned our opinion as if I just cussed at someone.

Recieved the globe today and it's probably the better out of the three. Well, it couldn't really be worse than the Glinda globe which seems to be a throwback to Madonna's 'Music' album with all the rhinestones and funny eyebrows... anyway...
The globe itself is the same size as Pop and DG but it looks larger as the base is somewhat wider and the clockface surrounding the globe adds height. I think Glinda looks rather good and is essentially accurate. Unfortuantely the Elphaba is a bit of a mess with a hat that looks like she will be playing the part of Robin Hood and a dress with 'frills' that are entirely innacurate. Not to mention she has her hair undone and looks a little permed. Pity as if Elphaba was relatively accurate it would look quite lovely. Perhaps a little red or blue paint on the dress too?
The clock of the Time Dragon base, however, is a nice touch (or Stacey as the Dragon is named in the Melbourne production according to the puppeteer). This was actually the reason why I bought the globe. Nice touch. The music componant plays 'For Good' at a rapid speed but is still pleasant to listen to. If you're going to get any of the globes this should be your choice. Is it worth the price tag? No. However we seem to get the Wicked merch a little cheaper in Australia comparing the exchange rate (but Wicked merch Aus won't let you order from overseas).

I think the Glinda looks a lot like Megan and Helen with that giant smile, heavy lipstick, and fair skin. I don't think I'll be buying this one right now because it is way, way, way too expensive and still doesn't look that great. Elphie is all wrong, especially her dress inexplicably turning into a long, black version of the "Popular" dress.

I think they should sell all three globes as a set for a discounted price for those of us who have not purchased any of them yet. And in a completely unrelated note: Fiyero3305, can you tell me what font you used in your banner? I really like it.

I think it's ridiculous to charge that much for a snowglobe that isn't even accurate (Elphaba's dress, for one) and... the details are just kind of not-so-nice looking, in my opinion. The Little Mermaid musical snowglobe is $50, and I think it looks to be of similar quality, if not even a little better, than the Wicked ones that they want practically double the price for!
I love collecting snowglobes and musical figurines/boxes, but I'd only shell out that much cash for something of higher quality. A lot of Disney snowglobes are expensive, but they (for the most part) are gorgeous and well made.
Thank Goodness!

I got it for Christmas, Glinda is verrrry detailed and Elphaba looks terrible in comparison. D: The outside is really well done though with the dragon and the monkeys.

I got it too. It's very nice (everything is really well detailed) except Elphaba looks like she has an afro. It is slightly bigger than the other two snowglobes.

could someone post an upclose shot of their real snowglobe, i always find the promo shots are always a bit off!

I tried to take pics but camera just died unfortunately.

Had been on it's way since dropping at Wicked Day...though took some great shots and at least went nobly!

I'd been wanting to see the 'For Good' globe in person since seeing online and had a good play before the show New Year's Eve. The lovely gal at the merchandise stand was interested to know why I called the dragon Stacey in pointing out to my friend, and explained how at the Wicked Day tech rehearsals were told that for each production, the puppeteer names the dragon and ours is the first female of the species!

I LOVE dragons (aside from Gregory Maguire's Wicked series, Anne McCaffrey's Dragons of Pern hold a special place in my heart

), so that was huge part of the decision to buy. Not worth the high price asked but as saintaelphaba stated, cheaper here in Australia in comparison; you get both girls plus extras like Chistery, Time Dragon, clock etc.,...could not say no to this one. Besides I had plans to buy a full price show ticket for the night, so a bonus gift in winning the lottery!

I've played with the other two a few times at the show, and try to convince myself to buy being such a Wicked fanatic but I just can't bring myself to spend the money for such cheap quality. Elphaba's tormented look in the Defying Gravity globe (not that you can see any facial features!), contradicts the chirpy chimed version of the song and I'm so grateful when I think how badly I wanted it originally before the show opened here in Melbourne. There was no facility to purchase from overseas and the postage alone would have been almost the same as the globe itself.

Of the 3, I agree that it's the best. Elphaba is rather odd looking but wearing my fave outfit, even though nothing like it (helps if I squint when I look at it), and I'm thinking the sculptor had a thing for the 80's considering the look of the Glinda 'Popular' globe and Elphaba in the 'For Good' one!
