BIC is doing a meet and greet with Dee and AA after the shows on Jan 7th and 14th -->
http://www.theatreinchicago.com/news.php?articleID=441So if you don't mind spending $100 on your seat, and you've seen the show at least 6 times, you can get pictures with them in-costume.
(how many fans do you know who've seen the show 6 times and haven't been to the stage door, though, where pics cost $0?)

that's actually pretty cool IMO, sure you can get free pictures at the SD but they're not in costume. I wish LA would do this.

I'm definitely tempted to do this... lol

If I had more money in bank account, I'd totally do it.

I'd totally go -- exept I'm seeing it Dec 27, and there is NO WAY my parents would let me go down again just to meet Dee and Annaleigh. They have no appreciation of the full gloriousness of Wicked! ROFL
I also just realized I've used the word gloriousness twice today. Hmmm. Maybe I need to invest in a thesaurus.

I'd love to go...and probably would it I wasn't literally looking in between couch cushions for x-mas present funds.
But it's nice they're doing something for the fans!
(Although, I would have gladly put an extra hundred towards the final show ticket for a decent seat....)

The article states several times that you get to meet "Glinda and Elphaba" as opposed to Dee and Annaleigh. I hate to ever assume but I would think meeting Glinda and Elphaba would mean you DO get to meet the characters aka in makeup and costume.

^Or maybe they say Elphaba and Glinda in case Dee/AA are ill on those dates.

Good point. Definitely not worth $100 if they are not in costume,
If they had done this in NY with Annaleigh and either SJB or Lisa I would have spent $200!! How many people get to have an in costume picture with both principles?

I shouldn't assume...the article didn't say they'd be in costume, but yeah, since it said "Elphaba and Glinda", and since it's right after the show, I thought it probably would be.

I think it would make more since to have the women in their costumes because anyone can meet the actresses in their regular clothes after the show at the stage door. But to meet the actresses in their costumes is something very few people have had the chance to do.
I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens after the first night that this oppportunity takes place.

Ah this is so tempting but I can't justify paying full price for a ticket anymore or going down on a weeknight during the first two weeks of classes.

If it's right after the performance, I'd hope they'd be in costume!

That's what I was thinking. Because it's probably safe to say that if you've seen the show 6+ times already, you've probably already met the cast at the stage door at some point.

I went to the show today and was able to talk to the woman in the box office....the code was never activated, she had no idea what i was even talking about...so she went and talked to someone and they fixed it, so now you can purchase the tickets for this

I've really really missed the forum.
This sounded pretty cool. And it was awesome of BIC and all who made it possible to make it all happen. I wonder how many people did this. Had I frequented the forum earlier and read this thread and the article, I totally would have checked it out.
From the lack of posts, I take it no one from the forum did?
