So, anyone know if has the show changed at all recently since the American producers came out to 'polish' (not really the right word, but I can't think of a better one for the time being) it up a few weeks ago?

Ummm, I couldn't tell you. It would be interesting to find out though! biggrin.gif

Lucy's "no no no" before Popular has gone when she's telling Elphaba it's not her fault. That's something I've noticed.

There haven't been any major changes that I've noticed. It seems to be a continuation of what has gone on before. I think Lucy, over the last couple of months, has really found Glinda. Not only found Glinda but adapted Glinda to suit her too.

I love we refer to them as "the Americans" haha. I have this image of them all in dark coats and hidden behind very dark sunnies. I would imagine some of the Aussie production crew would be a bit iffy having the Americans around, especially since they've been running the production on their own for months now.

I got to see the show last night for New Year's Eve...YAY won the lottery! kittydance.gif ( btw.gif Happy 2009 EVERYONE!! nice.gif) Shared the experience with a girlfriend who had not seen the show or read the novel BUT it felt like "I" was seeing it for the first time! unsure.gif Seemed fresh…not sure if it was due to a 2 month absence (felt like sooooo MUCH longer!), or the fact I had a few New Year's drinks with friends prior to the show? Things seemed somewhat different but could not put my finger on it and thought maybe it was just my slightly intoxicated state and heightened senses. biggrin.gif The ensemble definitely seemed more animated, and as we had discussed saintaelphaba, more chatty in parts. Other roles seemed much the same but Lucy is now her own Glinda that's for sure! Everyone seems comfortable…at home so to speak but in NO way giving the impression of being bored etc. boring.gif Great cast! elphie3.gif

Awww. Lucy got rid of the 'no no no'! I loved that, thought it was verrry cute, and so Galinda! Aw well, I won't be seeing the show anytime soon anyways. sad.gif

Can't really comment on any of the changes, since I've only seen the show the two times while I was in Melbourne. But Lucy was definitly a great Glinda, me and my friends loved her alot. biggrin.gif
