^I like that idea. Give it a little change-up so we keep it fresh? Yeah, I like that.
ForGood
I'd prefer to do Elphaba & Glinda standbys/understudies, but I'd be ok with other characters too.

ETA: I'm trying to figure out who we haven't done yet.

Elphabas- Kristy, Carmen, Willemijn, Caissie, Teal, Alexia, Nicole
Glindas- Erin, Kate F, Lucy D, Helene
Yeroismyhero
I will bring it up with Ash and see what she says and what the other mods say. Just thought we'd throw in a curve ball hehe.
Robert Upland
I vote for different characters biggrin.gif

Willemijn already got a performer analysis thread, I believe. But I don't know who is missing then.

I would like both standby's/understudies or other characters; I don't really mind which one biggrin.gif I haven't seen many different performers but I love to read opinions about the ones I haven't seen! I really like the Performer Analysis threads, so for me they may continue for quite some time smile.gif
Yeroismyhero
Erin, Teal, and Helen have had threads.
ForGood
Helene, not Helen. smile.gif Willemiijn and Teal haven't had official threads since you guys started doing it. I think both of their old threads are locked. You're right Erin was already done. I think the other Glinda is Miyuki Ogai.
WickedlyAsh
^First, to clarify, I said INCLUDING this week, so it's actually 6 more new Elphabas and 3 more new Glindas, so you've essentially had the right list the first time, you just included one Elphaba and one Glinda who had already been covered (Willemijn and Erin) smile.gif

And another thought as a compromise...what about 3 analyses per week:
1. An Elphaba s/b or u/s
2. A Glinda s/b or u/s
3. A Fiyero lead

Think that would appease everyone? I figured that, later down the line, we could eventually get to Nessas and Boqs together, as well as Morribles and Wizards together, since Fiyero and Nessa together is a bit random.
ForGood
That sounds good to me.
Yeroismyhero
Ah oops sorry. I'm not all up-to-date on all the leads and such. Sorry about that.
WickedlyAsh
Just wanted to say thanks for the feedback guys! I think we've got a system figured out that will keep things fun and interesting without an overwhelming number of threads each week. We'll continue doing updates on Mondays throughout, but will eventually switch over to Elphaba u/s and s/b, Glinda u/s and s/b, and Fiyero leads once we get through our Elphaba and Glinda leads. I've also got lists in place for Nessa and Boq leads a little further down the road, and hope to eventually get to Wizards and Morribles too.

The only thing I realized when I looked at the Nessas and wanted to point out now: if someone played multiple roles in Wicked, I'm only creating one thread for them. For example, Marcie has played Elphaba and Nessa, and she's already had an Elphaba thread, but I don't plan on creating a new thread for her Nessa. This is also the case for like Jenna Leigh Green, who was an Elphaba u/s as well as a lead Nessa. I think those are the only two instances I've seen so far, but just be aware of that.

Thanks again for the feedback!
PinknPopular
Well, there are Glinda/Nessa U/S too.

Also if it was Marcie's turn for Nessa, maybe just pin her thread up again.
WickedlyAsh
Alright y'all, Lisa and Asako have been retired (links to their threads can still be found in the first post of this thread) to make way for this week's Elphaba and Glinda: Caissie Levy and Lucy Durack!
WickedlyAsh
It's Monday morning, so you know what that means! Caissie and Lucy have been retired to make room for this week's Elphaba and Glinda: Teal Wicks and Kate Fahrner!
WickedlyAsh
Happy Monday everyone smile.gif Teal and Kate have just been retired to make way for this week's Elphaba and Glinda: Alexia Khadime and Heléne Yorke!

Also...unless I'm mistaken, Heléne is our last lead Glinda to analyze. If that's the case, next week we'll be moving on to include a s/b or u/s Glinda instead. So, if you think there's a lead Glinda I missed, let me know!!!
Shecleanedupgreen
I haven't seen one for Nicole....Is it coming?
WickedlyAsh
Yep, this is just the last Glinda lead. I think we have three more lead Elphabas left...just turns out that there's been fewer Glinda leads than Elphaba leads smile.gif
WickedlyAsh
Alright ya'll, it's Monday again, and I thought I'd explain what's happening now that we've gotten through all the lead Glindas....

We have three more lead Elphabas to get through (Kristy Cates and two others), so for those three weeks, I'm pairing the lead Elphabas with Glinda standbys or understudies that went on quite a bit (like Emily Rozek for this week, for example). Once we get through the last few lead Elphabas, we'll probably start doing three threads per week: a standby/understudy Elphaba, a standby/understudy Glinda, and a lead Fiyero. Since it's much less likely that people have seen and can analyze understudies and standbys, I thought it best to keep at least one lead in the mix.

So anyway, now that that's out of the way, let me officially say that Alexia and Helene have been retired to make way for this week's analyses: Kristy Cates and Emily Rozek!
ForGood
Are you not counting Willemijn? Her PA thread is still open, but that's before you started doing them "officially."

Nope, Willemijn, got an "official" week, back in like February. But when I retire someone who had a previously closed thread, I merge them together. So if you look at the Willemijn thread, the first 21 posts or so are from before we started doing this officially. But starting at post 22, you can see my "official" jargin along with her analysis. That post can be found here: http://www.witchesofoz.com/wicked_boards/i...t&p=1002056

...in fact, looking through, I think you actually analyzed her that week, lol. Hope that cleared things up, thanks for keeping me on my toes...I'm always scared I'm gonna miss somebody! smile.gif
ForGood
LOL, shows how good my memory is. tongue.gif
WickedlyAsh
Alright...even though it certainly feels like Sunday (yay long weekend), it's actually Monday, which means that Kristy and Emily have been retired to make way for this week's Elphaba and Glinda: Carmen Cusack and Jana Stelley! Only one lead Elphaba left, can we guess who it is? tongue.gif
WickedlyAsh
Alright, we've made it to our last Elphaba lead....Carmen Cusack and Jana Stelley have been retired to make room for....Nicole Parker and Laura Woyasz! And get excited, we'll be adding in lead Fiyero's next week!
PinknPopular
YAY for Fiyeros!
Teal-Shade-of-Eden
Coincidentally, I would kill to see Nicole and Laura together. They would interact very well onstage together, in my opinion.
WickedlyAsh
Alright, we're officially covering Elphaba and Glinda standbys and understudies now, as well as lead Fiyeros! So Nicole and Laura have been retired to make way for...Angel Reda, Michelle London, and, to kick it off for the boys...Norbert Leo Butz! Enjoy!
WickedlyAsh
Alright everyone, Monday morning has arrived! Angel, Michelle and Norbert have been retired to make way for this week's crew: Courtney Corey, Melissa Bell Chait, and Nicolas Dromard!
WickedlyAsh
Alright everyone, it's Monday once again! Courtney Corey, Melissa Bell Chait, and Nicolas Dromard have been retired to make way for this week's Elphaba, Glinda, and Fiyero: Shona White, Sarah Jean Ford, and Mark Seibert!
WickedlyAsh
Hey all, it's that time of week again...Shona, Sarah, and Mark have been retired to make way for this week's performers: Carrie Manolakos, Stefanie Brown, and Cliffton Hall!
WickedlyAsh
5th post in a row...oops...

Oh well, it's Monday, and Carrie, Stefanie and Cliffton have been retired to make way for this week's bunch: Vicki Noon, Megan Sikora, and Kristoffer Cusick!
Man in Chair
I'll stop your crazed posting spree!
Thanks for all the work you're putting into this.smile.gif
WickedlyAsh
^Haha, thanks for saving me from having to post six times in a row!

Alright everyone, seeing as it's Monday morning, Vicki, Megan, and Kristoffer have been retired (as always, links to their threads can be found in the first post of this thread) to make way for this week's trio: Brandi Chavonne Massey, Annaleene Beechey, and Mathias Edenborn!
WickedlyAsh
Happy Monday everyone! Brandi, Annalene, and Mathias have been retired this morning to make way for our new trio: Ashleigh Gray, Kate Loprest, and Brad Bass! Have at it!
WickedlyAsh
Yawn, is it really Monday morning already? boring.gif Ashleigh, Kate, and Brad have now been retired (links to their analyses can be found in the first post of this thread) to make way for this week's trio: Meredith Kaye Clark, Sarah Earnshaw, and Aaron Tveit!
WickedlyAsh
Alright everyone! Meredith, Sarah and Aaron have been retired to make way for this week's bunch: Maria Eberline, Heather Spore, and David Ayers. Have at it!
WickedlyAsh
Would you guys believe we've been doing this for 32 weeks already?! Crazy!

Anyway, it's Monday morning once again, so Maria, Heather, and David have been retired to make way for this week's bunch: Chelsea Krombach, Meggie Cansler, and Richard Blake!
WickedlyAsh
6 posts in a row now? Oops, oh well...

Chelsea, Meggie, and Richard have been retired to make way for this week's bunch: Julie Reiber, Cristin Boyle, and David Burnham!
clockworkgirl21
What will happen when we run out of performers?
Phantom
Maybe then start on something like analysing general theatre performers. Who knows.
WickedlyAsh
We will never run out of performers, muah ha ha!

Okay, just kidding (and thanks for saving me from my posting spree, lol). Honestly, we still have enough Elphaba/Glinda standbys and understudies to last us till just about the end of the year. After that, we'll move onto other character leads (Wizards, Morribles, Nessas, Boqs), and could also delve into Fiyero understudies if we want. And if we ever get through the Wicked crowd but people still want to do this, we could even consider analyzing performers from other shows (Patti LuPone, Anthony Rapp, Alice Ripley, etc). But, in terms of Wicked performers, I'd say we're covered for at least a year!
WickedlyAsh
Happy Monday everyone! Julie, Cristin, and David had been retired (as always, find links to their analyses on the first post of this thread) to make way for this week's group: Stephanie Torns, Katrin Lobbert, and Taye Diggs!
WickedlyAsh
Hey guys smile.gif Stephanie, Katrin, and Taye have been retired to make room for this week's bunch: Maria Walter, Lindsay K. Northen, and Michael Seebach!
WickedlyAsh
First off, I've gotta say WOW, we almost had our first performer go a whole week without ANY analysis! But someone did finally comment on Maria Walter last night, but it sounds like someone very few of us got the chance to see!

Anyway, I'm getting off-topic...it's Monday, so it's time to change it up! Maria, Lindsay, and Michael have been retired this morning to make way for the next trio: Roberta Valentini, Laura Bell Bundy, and Derrick Williams!
ForGood
Is Chandra going to get her own thread now that she's a new principle Glinda? smile.gif

Yes she will, and I've already got her factored into upcoming analyses, but I decided to wait a little while to give enough people the chance to see her. So she is coming, but I want to ensure enough people have had the chance to see her to make it an interesting analysis.
PinknPopular
That's a good idea. I think so far only two people here have seen her.
WickedlyAsh
Happy Monday everyone! As always, Roberta, Laura, and Derrick have been retired to make way for this week's bunch: Jenna Leigh Green, Melissa Fahn, and Colin Donnell!
WickedlyAsh
Yawn, why is it Monday already, where did the weekend go? sad.gif

Well regardless, Jenna, Melissa, and Colin have been retired to make way for this week's bunch: Sabrina Weckerlin, Caroline Keiff, and Adam Garcia. Have at it!
WickedlyAsh
Happy Monday everyone smile.gif Sabrina, Caroline, and Adam have been retired (as always, links to their analysese can be found in the first post of this thread) to make way for this week's bunch: Patrice Tipoki, Erin Hasan, and Li Tao!
