I'm always happy to see promotions and am thrilled for her, especially considering that she's been around for a pretty decent chunk of time as standby.

Ha, Ha.......I asked a question about standbys being promoted to principals in the "Jennifer DiNoia and Kyle Dean Massey to perform "At This Performance"" thread.....
I wondered why so few standbys get promoted to principals...

If Jennifer gets promoted, she will be only the 3rd Elphaba s/b on Broadway to be moved to the principal.....The only other 2 were Eden and Shoshana.......

Hmm if this is true I'll definatly will try to see Nicole more before she goes. Nothing personal to Jenny but I'm not too crazy about her. If she does take over, I'll try and go see Nicole and Alli's last show.

Meh...I was hoping for Donna to come. It wasn't on Jenny's Facebook, though so I wouldn't get excited.

It would be amazing if she did. I saw her several times in Chicago and she is PHENONENAL! Her and Dee are pretty close...I can't decide which is my favorite. Also, she is incredibly kind and humble at the stagedoor. So, it it's true. Good for her!

It will be interesting to see what happens. I hate the thought of Nicole's and Alli's faces not appearing on the Broadway company photos anymore. It will be sad for me because they are the firsts for me and they were so awesome both times I saw them. I hope I can pull off a trip to NYC to see them again before they leave. But I feel so, so fortunate to have been able to see them twice.

There are several "possibilities." And I am just considering currents and those who are fresh off of a run.

Elphabas:
Eden is fresh off of LA, so she may be a possible.
Dee closed Chicago in Jan, but is in San Fran right now...Still possible though, depending on Teal's health.
I tend to doubt they would pull Marcie back since she just started the 2nd tour....I will be seeing her in Norfolk in May...Cannot wait!!!!
Donna may be a definite possibility.

Glindas:
Kendra is always a definite possibility.
Analeigh is fresh off of Chicago

One more...and wouldn't this be wild!!!....Megan finishes her run in 9-5 and they bring her back.....It would be a long shot, but if it happens....The minute I find out, I will be visiting Ticketmaster

Haha some wishful thinking there. If Megan and Stephanie came back after 9 to 5 i'd die but I doubt it. I also doubt Eden would return, she only returned to LA to finish of the LA run as like a final goodbye for a couple monthe. Dee is possible but I somehow don't see it happening. Donna would be fabulous (:

Honestly, I think Dee is done with Wicked (even though she did step into San Fran for a bit, but that's short term and not full time). But you never know!

Same with Annaleigh, but I think she's more likely to return than Dee.

Wishes and Fun Guesses

First off I would love to see Nicole and Alli extend, but say they do not......

I would love to know your opinions......and this is based on all former/current Elphabas and Glindas as well as recent s/b's

#1) Who would you Wish would come to the Broadway roles?

#2) Make a Fun Guess as to who it will be....assuming a former/current/sb comes to the Broadway roles. Would be fun to see who hits it.

Wish: Megan and Eden

Guess: Donna will be pulled from the tour and they bring Kendra from LA. I am probably way off with Kendra but what the heck....

Megan shouldn't come back to Wicked, IMO. I'm still holding out hope for my dream pair of Lisa/Katie, although I think Katie will need a break from Wicked after she's done with the tour.

My dream pair:

Stephanie J Block&Annaleigh Ashford or Kendra Kassebaum (They're both marvelous and work very well with Stephanie)

Likely or Possible Pairs:

Donna Vivino and Katie Rose Clarke
Vicki Noon and Idk Haha

In general I'd be thrilled to see Donna or Vicki come to Broadway and I'd definatly like to see Katie Rose come. I still would kill to see Stephanie come back, and if she did I'd want to see her with Annaleigh or Kendra

I thought that if they were going to recycle an Elphaba it would've Carmen Cusack.

I love Jenny to absolute bits and pieces, but I'm hoping that I get to see Nicole on July 8.

Annaleigh also said she was taking a break from wicked. Not that she will never come back but taking some time off.
Kendra has a tendecy to jump from production to production, so you never know with her but my money says she won't be back to Wicked on B-way with in the next year.

Yeah, but you don't tend to see standybys on Broadway get directly promoted to the Broadway lead. They usually get to lead another production

Amen Alex. I firmly believe that the people starting these rumors could use a serious reality check. Not only does it cause the debating minds of WoO to post hundreds of pages of false information, but it is disrespectful and hurtful to the performer. Jenny is only doing her job, and as we all know, her job is the most demanding job there is out there. She doesnt need her job plus nonconfirmed rumors to worry about. I think people sometimes forget that performers are JUST PEOPLE. Yes, they have a cool job! but they're just people who can be hurt by what people choose to say. It is unfortunate...people like Jenny do so much for us, and people are so ruthless.
