Wicked, unlike many shows, actually makes individual costumes for the standby's as well. In most cases (because the costumes are soooo expensive) they use the originals costumes but not Wicked. Hope that helps.

well also they buy new ones becasue no one is the same size. stephanie and kendra are a different size than idna ana krisin etc.

the have different costumes for everyone. when someone permenately takes over, they sort of redesign the costume for them (just look at Glinda's outfits) they make different costumes for the ensemble too, but the keep them when someone leaves so they can try it on a new person. so everyone has their own specially designed costumes (except for on occasion the ensemble).
