Got inspired, typed this up on my phone, loved it.
Picture this in the beginning of act two, but bookverse. Bookverse ThankGoodness.

And Elphaba saw him, and she opened her arms slowly to hug and comfort him.

"Boq."

Without speaking, he pulled a gun from his pocket and pointed it at Elphaba's heart.

Shock.

Understanding.

Shot.

Elphaba fell backwards, arms still outstretched to comfort her murderer.

Finally at peace.

Remaining elegant even in death.
