Probably the most horrifying news since the Stuttgart production opened: our cast member Juliana de Aquino died in the Air France 447 plane crash. My thoughts are with her family and friends and of course everyone else who has lost a family memeber or a precious friend. It's such a tragic accident...

This is one of those times where there is nothing to say.

The plane crash was just terrible all around.
EDIT:
Here is a page on her.
http://julianadeaquino.jimdo.com/juliana-de-aquino/I think she was a Morrible and Elphaba understudy.

No, she had no understudy part in Stuttgart. She could be seen as one of Glinda's friends though.
Edit: I just noticed she was a Morrible understudy. Sorry, my mistake!

She actually was u/s Morrible and went on quite a bit in early May, while Barbara Raunegger was out.

How awful, and it must be so difficult for the cast to have to keep performing under the circumstances. Thinking of them.

It looks like she was not but she played Elphaba at a concert.

I can try, but you know I don't trust my German completely =S
But it's about how shocked and sad they are, that their hearts are with Juliana's family and friend. Then she says some nice words about her and that she will never forget Juliana's laugh =(

I'm not Siel but I just translated it elsewhere:
Today is an unbelievably sad day. Our Juliana was on board the Air France flight which went down in the Atlantic on Sunday night.
I can't grasp it and we all in the cast are completely shocked. We wish her family and friends lots of strength and we are thinking of you.
Juliana was an unbelievably talented, eager to learn (?) woman with lots of humour and energy. I will never forget your laughter.
Dear Juliana, we will all miss you.My heart goes out to the cast, and of course to her friends and family.

It seems I was wrong predicting that Dec 7 will be the official announcement of the Oberhausen cast.

It is however the date when a benefit concert in Juliana's honour will be held in the Palladium Theatre.
