Not sure if anyone here was attending “An evening with John Bucchino” this Sunday night but it seems Helen Dallimore who was to feature, has had to jet off to the UK for another engagement. Aussie Theatre link

So did anyone else catch Double Take last night? I thought it was...pretty woeful, tbh. There was maybe a couple of sketches I vaguely laughed at, but overall I don't think I'd tune back in again. Though, I have to admit it was kinda funny hearing an ex-Glinda swearing.

*nods emphatically* I tuned in and out having such high expectations when I first heard about the show...then saw the ads and thought "oh oh!!" Was an amusing contrast to seeing the bogan Helen in comparison to her refined Glinda. The dreamer in me kept hoping she would sing a Wicked song...the only reason I kept on channel!

Pity about it being rather... rubbish.


7 doesn't quite understand that intelligent humour is actually more amusing.
