I checked and it's not in-stock in any of the nearby B&N stores yet... I'll wait a bit as I don't need it till January. LOL. It's in stock in all the B&N shops near SF for pick-up.

It's available in-store around San Francisco and NYC for sure. But, it might take another month or two to be put in stores elsewhere.

They're in stock at my local B&N, they just haven't been put on display yet. I just put my copy of the planner on hold... I'll go down sometime within the next few hours and tell everyone what's new inside it.

I live in michigan and I went today and they had both of them in stock in the back room...So i made them go in the back and get them for me LOL

The planner is at the Irvine Spectrum in the OC, but the calendar hasn't arrived yet.

UGH just got the planner and I am REALLY disappointed. Most of the pictures have been seen... there's only one new one of Erin and Rondi from "Dear Old Shiz." I was hoping we'd get some Nicole/Alli representation going but they always seem to favor one or two productions throughout the whole thing. I'm hoping the calendar is a different story.

^Some questions before I make the trip to buy it?

1) What month does the planner start with? 2) Is it day-by-day and is there room for you to write what you did that day on it? 3) What type of extra things are there such as, yearly calendars; important dates; place to list addresses and phone numbers; notes?

ETA: Nevermind! I bought it even though it really wasn't I wanted for a weekly planner.

My Barnes and Noble has the Engagement calendar but not the wall calendar yet.

A store manager told me today that September 15 is the official launch day for a Wizard of Oz table and a smaller Wicked table. Now don't start hating, it's an anniversary year for Oz. There might be a Wizard of Oz and/or Wicked tote. Some stores might set up a couple of days early so be on the lookout. I imagine my B&N will sell out of everything quick because on Sept. 23 the mall B&N is in is showing the one night only 70th Anniversary Wizard of Oz High Def event at the theater. You might want to be on the lookout for that too if your B&N is in a mall by a theater. The Oz traffic will probably snap everything up.

It's so lame they used some pictures over.

Last year everything came out in October because it went along with the release of the new book, A Lion Among Men.

The "official" launch date last year was Sept. 10 but some stores started selling early. Pics of the Wicked table displays on my blog http://curiozitycorner.blogspot.com/2008/0...tle-wicked.html The Wicked merch was to coincide with Wicked's 10th anniversary and B&N also used it as a Halloween tie-in. They had posters hanging up saying 'Have a Wicked Halloween' that were added after I took my photos.

This year is for the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz which had it's world premeire in Hollywood on August 15 1939 though it was sneaked a few days early in the mid-west. This year the B&N launch date is the 15th of Sept and I would't be surprised if they tied it in to Halloween. I hope they get some different Wicked merch in this year. For whatever reason Warner Brothers is having all the 70th anniversary hoopla on September and beyond.

my barnes and noble said they had the stuff in the back room but that they couldn't release it yet. They said they only have a wall and desk calendar. Does anyone know if there will be more items like there were last year?

Could someone who has the planner please tell me what it's like other than the pictures? I'm trying to decide wether to get one of my school's assignment books that they sell or to get this one. And those Annalee dolls are adorable.

I have one so here goes. If you're planning to use it for this school year the bad news is that it doesn't start in September. It starts on Dec. 28, 2009 and goes through January 9, 2011.

First page is for Personal Data followed by World Time Differences; International Dialing Codes; North American Area Codes and Weights & Measures.

Next are two yearly calendars for 2010 and 2011.

Next comes the month-by-month weekly planners with writing areas for each day roughly 1" x 5 1/2" = not a lot or room. Each month will have 2 photos from Wicked within the weeks.

After the weekly planners there are small calendars for each month in 2011 = 6 pages. The planner ends with 11 pages for Notes.

Hope this helps as I'd say it was a strictly a planner for keeping engagement dates rather than any type of journal.

I was just told there's a new Wicked tote this year. I'm going to go pester Barnes and Noble tomorrow.

There is a new pop-up book and it might be the best thing I've ever seen in my life.

I tried to go to Barnes and Noble today. It didn't work. I say to my mother, "Mom, can we go to DSW and Barnes and Noble?" And she's like, "Yeah okay fine." So she takes me to the DSW that's next to Border's. I said, "Uh, where are we going?" "To DSW." "But I wanted to go to Barnes and Noble." "Can't you just go to Borders?" "No. Border's does not have the Wicked stuff." "Oh, well I can order that online."
Which pretty much means I'll end up with nothing, because she said 2 weeks ago that she'd order my stuff from playbill.com when we got back from Florida. We got back 4 days ago and she still hasn't done it.

The new tote bag's on the Barnes and Noble website, if you just search for "Wicked tote." I don't think I'll be buying it, it's too similar to the one they sold last year.

The pop-up book, though, looks awesome! I'm so glad I just got a Barnes and Noble gift card for my birthday.

Strange... Earlier today, I was able to just type "Wicked pop-up" on the Barnes and Noble website, and it came up. Now it doesn't, and I had to specifically search using the ISBN.

Just got back from my local Barnes and Noble, they've got the new tote bags out, but nothing else. I asked about the pop-up book, and they haven't gotten them yet.

I kinda love that pop-up book lol..the pictures are great...especially the page with Defying Gravity and the letters from Elphaba and Glinda lol..I may have to wait and see what my money situation is next month when they release it before I decide to buy it lol..

I just got the 2010 wall calendar!

Last Wednesday, I went and got the new tote bag, wall calendar, and desk calendar. They didn't have it out yet but I did that thing where you can order items for pick up at the store. So extremely happy that I have them.

The solo picture of Norbert in the planner, was enough for me to make the purchase!

I'm such a sucker..... LOL
