I admit, having Michelle back made my heart do a little happy dance lol..she was my first (and second) Nessarose and it is awesome to have an original cast member back on board! And yes, it is good to have Dee/Erin back together as well lol

YAY!
Even though it's not really news anymore, I'm still thrilled for Erin on her Broadway debut. :-) I really enjoyed her Glinda!
And as for Michelle, YAY! *happy dance* She was terrific as Nessarose, and it's great to have her back!

I think I'm the only one that's not excited about Michelle coming back. But I will still see the show since I love Dee and will most likely love Erin. I am getting tired of all the recycling when we have standbys and understudies who have more then "paid their dues".

I see your point......but shes an original. I think its like an aggrement that you can return when ever. hahha just kidding. But shes from the OBC and thats why she gets to come back!

But then isn't that a double standard since both Dee and Erin are extremely recycled? I mean, they've both played their roles for roughly as long as Michelle played Nessa the first time (especially Dee, and especially if you count their time as standby/understudy), so if one is tired of recycling for Michelle, shouldn't they be tired of recycling for people who are recycled just as much?

That's why I said I'm getting tired of "ALL" the recycling. I wasn't just talking about Michelle but Dee and Erin also.
I saw Michelle at the 5th Anniversary thing and thought she looked way too old to be playing someone who is in her early 20's.

Well I hope they don't decide to bring back Idina and Cheno then since they are from the OBC also.

I do know that the producers told Idina (at her "last" Broadway show) that she'd be welcome back to the production whenever she desired to return.

Erin has a new headshot on the official website. I think Erin and Dee both said on their old fansites that they saw Idina and Kristin play the roles at the Gershwin Theatre, and now they are performing those roles togehter on that stage. It must be a dream for both of them.

I'm so excited for Erin, and her new headshot is just beautiful.
My money's on Stanton Nash replacing Alex Broughton whenever the time comes for Alex to depart the show, given a.) that his wife is playing Glinda and b.) the Broadway cast has become the Chicago cast, relocated.

Though I'm not a fan of users at broadwayworld.com a very mature one went to see Erin's first show. They went in with low expectations, but enjoyed both Dee and Erin. Here's what they said:
"Dee has an extremely strong voice and her "Wizard and I" and "No Good Deed" were fantastic. Her acting, on the other hand, was hit or miss. I felt like she rushed through many of the lines that others (Julia Murney for example) got huge laughs for. Overall, though, she did a very good job in the role and I was pleasantly surprised with her performance, after all the negative reviews I had read on here.
Erin did a wonderful job, especially considering that this was her first time ever on a Broadway stage. She made some good acting choices during a few scenes that got laughs (she was very well recieved last night, especially for a Tuesday evening performance - maybe lots of friends and family in the audience?). Her "Popular" was very funny and her "For Good" with Dee was excellent - you could tell they have developed a rapport - it was emotional for both of them.
The show is still in excellent shape. Rondi Reed and PJ Benjamin are excellent (as always), and even Kevin Kern seemed better than the last time I saw him."
