Yeah, the Best of Musical tour starts on the day of the final performance (in Hamburg, methinks). Willemijn still hasn't made an official statement about what exactly she's going to do, but she HAS been confirmed for the tour. Both things are organized by Stage Entertainment so I guess it's pretty much up to them.

Wow. She really doesn't rest, does she? xD I'm still in awe of her going back and forth between Tecklenburg and Stuttgart so many times. I did that ONCE and it wore me out!

*nods* I thought something similar and mentioned to LaFemme a little while ago when we were discussing tickets. The dates looked like they clashed and I thought it most likely she'd be doing the Best of.

Tell me about it. They tend to do that though, Roberta did the same with Wicked and Marie Antoinette (the situation was reverse because she played in most of MA shows and "only" one or two Wicked shows per week, but still). It's pretty amazing. And a bit crazy, if I might add.

Yes, I remember hearing about that! I really admire them for doing two shows simultaneously - shows they really LOVE what they're doing too much to give one up!

Well, both Marie Antoinette and Aida were on a limited run (I think MA was about 4 months, Aida was a bit less than three), they'd be kinda crazy to give up on a steady job (which they like doing, obviously), especially Wicked.

But all that traveling! xD I can't think of anyone here who's done two shows at once. I know of people who've gone right from one to the next, or taken time OFF from one to do another... hehe.

Oh it would have been so awesome to see Will in Wicked one night and Aida the next!

Btw LaFemmeVerte if she is out and you get Roberta, you won't be sorry. She is amazing. (A lot like Amanda, I found!) (I'm sure Melanie and Maria are also amazing, but I haven't seen them so I don't know but I can certainly vouch for Roberta xD)

Seeing as the gal loves to travel..hoping Willie will do the show on the 28th as her last, and then have Roberta for the 29th...that would be my ideal Wicked in Stuttgart! I'm more curious to see Roberta for that experience when you mentioned previously about her being a lot like Amanda! Whoever I get I will enjoy...just the fact I fell in love with the German production cause of Willie and when I saw her contract was extended...inspired the trip OS. Feels weird that it was only a pipe dream earlier this year....now happening! Countdown is ON!

Chances are Roberta will be doing the final performance. I'm sorry for all you guys who wanted to see Willemijn do the last show in Stuttgart. If you still plan on going though, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with Roberta.

^Can I just say that I love Will's diary entries? They always make me think I'm better at German than I actually am, because usually I only have to run to my dictionary for like two words. xD

Still going to be a blast regardless, even though I'd DEARLY love to see the gal perform live cause she's one of my fave Elphabas. Hmmmm might check out tix for the gala! Before I even booked Wicked or Tanz thought...that would be good to see...now have new incentive!

Sensible....SENSIBLE!?!!?? NO...you, me, EVERYONE on here is anything BUT "sensible" when it comes to our passion for musical theatre! Besides there are those crazed football/soccer fans that travel from all over the world paying $$$$ to stand/sit in huge souless stadiums, exposed to weather and undesirable ppl...to watch grown men run, spit and kick each other I think flying overseas for just one theatre show is NOT that crazy! I say "GO FOR IT!!

Well it looks like it's Berlin for me...I'm there for the shows on the 10th and 11th so will look to book in the next week or so once internal flights are booked. Damn going to see Willie if I have to chase her round Germany! LOL fan/stalker...another fine line!

Okay looks like Ticketonline is giving me the runaround about exchanging my ticket for Tanz on the 28th January...anyone here know someone who wants a ticket or suggestions as to best way to sell? Don't like my chances for one ticket when tickets are still readily available and being on a Thursday night! I'm still fighting them on this cause Stage's damn fault for changing dates....so not fair considering! Not letting it upset me but hessitant now to buy any more tickets for anything. Pissed at their lack of responsibility in the matter.

I'd love a Tanz ticket!!! ... just not for that date xD

btw, Thomas finally sent the newsletter: the fanclub's getting tickets for the Derniere/final performance and the fanclub meeting on the day before:
1) FC meeting: Jan 28 - about a hundred seats in rows 2-10
2) Final performance: Jan 29 - about 80 seats in rows 2-10 and about 90 seats in rows 11-15

The ticketing website is awesome. When you select your date, click the "im Saalplan buchen" link and up pops a seating chart, and you can select your own seats. There's also a larger seating chart you can open in another window so you can see the whole thing at once. A lot better than just agreeing to whatever they think is "best available"!

It'd also be good if you could find "normal" photos of the place where the show will be held - the Velodrom in Berlin for example isn't raked at all, at least all the most expensive seats aren't: http://www.velodrom.de/all/images/gallery/...llsize3_pic.jpg

My friend who I am travelling with is now on the case..formatting a letter for me in German and dealing with them direct. Not sure if it will make a difference but will go with the link you sent if not. Received the newsletter yesterday from same friend...he translated it for me and I feel so much better about it all now. I thought the club missed out on securing any of the front rows and yet to receive seat allocation but I would say very good seeing as my friend was one of the first to send payment before this shamozzle! I feel so sorry for Thomas having to deal with all this. So lovely in his emails to me and he must receive so many as it is. Looking forward to meeting him and thanking in person. I know what it's like to coordinate events...a thankless job at the best of times but wonderful for the like minded souls one meets.

I'm so sorry for you guys who wanted to see her later in January, especially for you travelling from that far away. I hope you get Roberta (or any other Elphie) in top shape and I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for your visit to Oberhausen, because Willemijn's going and I don't even doubt you'll be visiting Oberhausen sooner or later, seeing how crazy you all are.

It's not official yet (and if I'm correct, the thing Willemijn's referring to in her diary that's supposed to happen on Dec 7 will be the first official info about the Oberhausen cast), but someone from the cast (whose name I'd better not mention so they don't end up in trouble, lol) blabbed on the stage door.
