I have posted a few times on here already, but I never made an official "Introduction" thread thing. So, yeah, here it is. I first started going to shows when I was about 7 or 8 years old. The first production I remember seeing was the Beauty and the Beast tour in Cleveland. Then, when I was 9, I had this actress friend, and she performed in what I would call "semi-professional" companies. In the 8th grade talent show *May of 04*, she sang a few songs from a musical called Wicked. The Wizard and I, What is this Feeling, by herself, and Popular. It kinda stayed with me, but I forgot about it for a few years. Then, while at the library, I came across a CD of Andrew Lloyd Webber "greatest hits." On it was songs from a show called Evita. I thought to myself, "Wow, this is amazing." I bought the movie and watched it OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. I saw a television ad for the tour of Evita coming to Cleveland. I immediately went online and purchased 8 tickets for the show. Little did I know, I purchased 8 Broadway Series packages. In addition to Evita, Wicked was part of it. I remember looking at it, and I started to cry, because I never thought that Wicked would ever come to pathetic little Cleveland. The first time I saw it, I saw it with Julia and Kendra. I remember looking up at the bubble machine during No One Mourns... and thinking, "How old is the Glinda? 70?!" Then Murney did Wizard and I. Thinking to myself, this girl SUCKS, I was thinking about leaving during Intermission and selling my tickets to a few of my friends, who didn't get any tickets. BUT, as soon as she finished I'm Not That Girl, I was in tears. I have never heard something more beautiful in all of my life. During Defying Gravity, I was determined to stay throughout that performance. I went out of the theatre all red-eyed from crying so much! I went back for the rest of those performances, seeing Victoria Matlock on the 3rd of July, a Monday, which I thought was odd a few years later, as Wicked is usually dark on Monday's, but the 4th of July was a Tuesday, so that explains it, I guess. Then, in 2007, I heard Wicked was coming back in Feb-March of 2008. I went and saved all of my money and went on to purchase 25 tickets to the show. I got the rest as Christmas gifts. I saw all of those shows a bunch and fell in love with it all over again. Carmen Cusack, while not the best vocally abled person, was a delight to see. I fell in LOVE with Katie Rose Clarke. I saw Donna Vivino a few times, and I was entranced by the way she commanded the stage and her vocals, as well as her acting, was top notch. I remember going on March 9th, and finding out by one of my friends I took with me, that they come out at a stage door near the back of the theatre. I go there to find that someone is recording the stage-door. I remember standing way towards the back and I missed Katie Rose Clarke, (a). because I didn't want to be on someone's home video, and (

. she seemed like she wanted to get out of there. Anyway, I left only meeting Cliffton and Deedee. Then, I graduated high school and moved to Cleveland State University, which is right next to the theatre's. I saw A Chorus Line, Legally Blonde, Rent, Hairspray, Spring Awakening, and Mandy Patinkin and Patti LuPone. All I saw multiple times, and went to the stage door, where I met everyone in the cast and crew, minus Patti LuPone, because she is TOO good for everyone and doesn't ever want to come out of the stage door... I am looking forward to seeing Wicked again this year (32 times), with whoever is in the cast and I hope to meet some of you guys at the stage door or elsewhere around Cleveland! If you just want to talk about Wicked, or Broadway in general, shoot me up a PM and we can talk!
Forgot to add that I am an accounting major, and I don't like to brag, but I am getting a 3.8 GPA =)
