Whose wig looks the best? I'd have to say who ever plays Glinda. I saw JLT and thought it was her real hair for a little bit. Who would guess she's a red head?

I know Elphie's hair suppose to be black but on stage, it looks blackish brown and it doesn’t really look too real. But Glinda’s hair does! and doesn't she have like 15 million wigs? if not that then close to it! How many wigs does Elphie have?

JMO, I like the Elphie wig more...actually it depends on who's wearing it. I think it looked very real on Sho, but on Eden its less real looking. But it was hard for me to choose because for a while I thought JLT's wig was her real hair...

I voted for Glinda because every picture or clip of the actress I've seen playing her, it looks real

Glinda's wigs look a lot better on anyone. I just think that they're made better.

It depends on which kind of wig they make for her. I love Idina's wigs, but I hate Stephanie's flat looking ones. I love Elphies, but I hate the flat ones, Idina's was pulled back kinda and curly...

Definitely the Glinda wigs. The Elphaba wig worn during Defying Gravity usually doesn't look that great.

An interview I read with JLT mentioned that she wondered why she had to be a blonde for the role and not keep her red hair.

They said she had to be blonde for one joke. Granted, it is a big joke and well worth it.

Plus, on those nights she wasn't feeling well, she could've probably slipped out of the Gershwin and no one would have noticed her.

I LOOOOVE Glinda's wigs. They always look real. It makes me sad though because my one HUGE life ambition is to play her, and I'm a brunette. Not a light brunette, but almost naturally black. *Sigh*.

Of all the Glindas, I LOVE Hilty's Popular wig. Its so adorable :mrgreen:

At least its not like hairspray. Edna and Penny have different wigs for each person that plays them. Harvey has a red wig, Bruce had a bleached blonde. one penny i saw in heairpsray the wig looked like normal, un-sprayed hair!

Yeah, before I knew that all actors wore wigs, I simply was in denial that that was a wig.... I thought they just curled her hair extra-tight for the older scenes to make it shorter....

Except, ever since JLT, the Glinda wigs are looking wierd....Kendra (in the pictures) kinda looks unbrushed, and Kate's plain looked wet.

Definitely Glinda !! Did anybody count how many times she changes her wig.
BTW Megan is wearing another hairstyle than Kristin. Did you notice that ??
