Hey guys, its been a while since we have seen a review of the Broadway company, so lets get the gears goin' again!

Preshow: Okay so my friend Jill and I have tickets for the matinee, but since we got to the city extremely early we decided to lotto. We got their fairly early so we were around 10th in line. I was hoping it would stay that way, but of course reality set in and more and more people show up. Ironically I took out my cell phone and the time was 11:11. Now I'm thinking its 11:11 on 11/11. EPIC WISH TIME. So Jill took out her camera and we made our wishes on camera. I wished that I would win the Wicked lottery. I started to lose faith in that wish though because it ended up that around 200 people showed up. So Jill and I enter and then wait. The guys starts calling the names and the winners start lining up and you can naturally see that there will only be a few more names left to be called. Then out of shock the man calls out "Louis DiPaolo" I was frozen I couldnt believe that I was actaully called. As I was walking to the line the guys says "And the last name of the day is Jill Dooley (my friend)" At that point we stood there with our mouths wide open in absolute SHOCK that that just happened. We both won, back to back. Thank you 11:11. We ended up only taking my set of tickets because if not we would of had to sell four tickets opposed to two. So this was the beginning of an awesome day at Wicked!

NOMTW: So the show starts and right away I get that usual rush. The cast is nothing short of amazing and it feels so good to be back. Erin comes down in the bubble and is nicely greeted with some screams and applauses. She is very gorgeous and a very different look for Glinda than I'm used to. Her soprano is very very nice and different from Alli's. Let me just say that I will probably compare these two often but I will try not to! Back to Erin, I love that she moves around in the bubble opposed to just standing in one position. It was a nice change. Sam Zack was very good as the mother but Alex as the father was not so good. I saw him earlier this year and he was the same way so I kind of expected that. The end of this song went awesomly! I've been spoiled with the optional high note lately with Alli, so it was kind of a let down not to hear it. Anyway not really focused on that!

DOS: Dee runs in and I immediatley start screaming and clapping for her! The first words that came out of my mouth were "shes GORGEOUS" She had such a huge smile on her face and you could see she was excited to be there. She sings along! As the song went on her smile slowly left her face after seeing everyone react to her. When it came time for her lines she was pissed! When Erin rolled out I loved her reaction from seeing Dee. Michelle is a little older looking than Cristy so that was first thing I noticed. It was also a little odd becuase I have seen her picture as Nessa everywhere so it was strange to actually see her in person.Then Rondi comes out, shes classic. I love the little butt flash she does towards the audience.

TWAI: Dee just owns this song in everyway. I could honestly say that I was not a Dee fan at all, ever. But once she came to Broadway I decided to give her a chance because I figured I would be seeing her. I love her twitchy fingers! I watched them everytime! Her voice is so beautiful, I could feel it through my chest and it almost felt like it was in my veins. Her belt is just pure amazing! From "With me-stand there with the wizard" she didnt take a breath and it was so powerful. I loved the vibratto when she goes up on "IVEEE." She ended the song perfectly. Jill looked at me with her mouth on her lap. That is all that is needed to be said. Haha

WITF: Dee and Erin have awesome chemistry! This song was spot on in every aspect. The whole cast was fantastic and I love the little motions between Dee and Erin. It was very different from Nicole and Alli but I am always open to new! Dee's comedic timing with the "Blonde" line was dead on.

DTL: Kevin was great as usual! Nothing really new about his performance, I tried to focus more on Michelle because this is one of her bigger scenes. Michelle already isnt my cup of tea. She seemed to over act everything. Dee's dance was hysterical and perfect for Elphie! Erin completed the scene very nicely.

POP: Erin is adorable! She has a little bit of Alli's hyperness but not as much. The sharing of secrets was done very sweetly. I loved the little quirks Erin added throughout the song. Her "toss toss" was very funny and Dee is so funny imitating them. The second one she added a little "hey" to it and it was hysterical. The rest of the song was awesome. Erin has such a beautiful voice!

INTG: So perfect. One of the best renditions of the song I've heard. Dee really captured the tenderness of the song. I really felt for Elphaba in this scene. As I said Dee's voice really is amazing and I fall in love with it more and more. Jill was ready to cry by the end of the song. Thats how I knew Dee was doing it right.

OSD: Beautiful.Green.Perfect.

DG: Scene was really something different this time around. It was such a different feeling from when Alli and Nicole performed it. I really don't know how to explain it. I love Dee's "kiss me goodbyeyeyeeye". I also enjoyed watching Erin run around the attic in panic while Dee was singing. I also noticed that Dee started to re chant after Glinda told her to stop and I thought that was a nice unique touch. Dee and Erin hit the harmonies perfectly. The flying portion was so amazing. Her "sky" riff was lovely. It was so powerful and breathtaking. Both "Mee down"s were loud and powerful. Her face is somehting fierce when shes belting out those notes. The "Ahh" was fantastic and so clear. Perfect ending to act 1! Jill was shaking as was I.

TG: Erin did a fantastic job with this scene. I could really see her transition start to settle in. Her acting with Kevin was very well done. I really loved when she belted the "bridges" line but her "come true" came out a little nasally and forced. However the end of the song was great! And she had a great pose!

WWOTE: Michelle just didnt do it for me as Nessa. She seemed to be very weepy during this scene and it kind of got annoying. I did like though that as soon as Boq said "lost his heart" she turned into immediate female dog. The song was song very quietly which I guess I didn't like as much as I was hoping I would. She only belted on one of the "just"'s in the song but that sounded fantastic. Other than that she just really didnt do it for me.

INTGR: So heartbreaking and I enjoy the higher girl!

ALAYM: Dee and Kevin actually look right together. There voices blended together incredibly well and it was one of the highlights of the night. They didn't kiss this time, they only had there heads really close together, now I have seen this before with Kevin. Maybe its because hes married? I don't know lol.

Catfight/NGD: Dee and Erin sold the scene! There reactions were perfect and had the audience laughing. Dee got a nice applause for her cackle. And I loved Erins "Yesido" it was different from Kendra's and Alli's. No Good Deed was fantastic! Her wig was crazy wild. Again I have to note how awesome her voice was. I was hoping for the "Fiyero" riff but since it was a matinee I was suspecting that she wouldn't do it and she didn't. Haha. Her ending was fabulous!

FG: Very sweet moment. I always love hearing this song. It wasn't very cry-ee but very melancholy. The hug was extra long but very perfect for the moment. Jill loved this one!

F: Such a wonderful ending. Jill was so shocked when Dee popped out of the floor! I love to see peoples reactions when its their first time seeing it. Overall Jill LOVED LOVED LOVED the show! I'm so happy another Wicked fan!

That said, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy Michelle as Nessa more. Since her return, she's skyrocketed on my favorite Nessas list. But to each their own.

Okay, I guess I'm slow, but Kevin doesn't kiss the Elphabas? Is it bad that I've seen him twice and never noticed? Both times I saw him I was close to the stage. I had 3rd row for Marcie and Kevin, and 1st row for Nicole and Kevin. I could've sworn he kissed both girls.

That is kind of strange...even if he is married, that's just something you have to deal with in this industry.

I can't imagine it's because he's married. I mean, his wife is in Hair for crying out loud. And if it is becaus he is married, I agree with Fritz, you just have to deal with it.

I saw Kevin and he had no problem kissing Nicole.

Dee's NGD is THE best.

I saw the show on Sunday and he didn't kiss either Dee or Erin(he rubbed noses with her up on the bridge during Dee's INTG) so I'm thinking that he is sick or has been sick! Dee on the other hand kissed Erin on the knuckles and cheek during FG so I'm guessing that it's not her that is sick or Erin. All the other times I have seen Kevin he kissed both Elphie and Glinda.

I think it is wonderful how much you enjoyed the performance and had so many great things to say about it even though you didn't rank them as highly as most of the other Elphabas and Glindas you've seen.
