Just some thoughts on the show. I won lotto, was the first name called and was seated right across the aisle from Julie's boyfriend.
It was so good seeing Julie back up on that stage and you could see she was so happy to be back. She was on fire during the whole show.
When the guy in No One Mourns The Wicked asks is it true she was your friend watch Michelle over on the left hand side. She does a really silly dance that had me laughing.
Erin sounded the best I ever heard from her. Her bridges line in TG was just gorgeous. She has the best transformation from Act 1 to Act 2.
Julie and Erin's chemistry was outstanding and you never would have known the only did 2 shows before then. The same thing with Michelle whom Julie never worked with before either.
I enjoyed Michelle a lot better this time. Her acting in WWotE is outstanding. She is one of the only Nessa's that wants to be comforted instead of pushing Elphie away during that scene.
Julie did a growl in DG that I never heard her do before. When she was asked about it at SD she said that she had no clue where it came from and she didn't intend on doing it.
ALAYM was great, different than before with Julie and Kevin. He was touching her this time and they actually kissed. Julie did her "and see how bright we shine" riff that I love.
NGD was great. I was expecting a crazy 2nd Fiyero but it was pretty normal. The ending though was phenominal.
FG was emotional and great. Erin cries a lot now but Julie didn't. She was smiling at Erin almost the whole song. During the end Erin tug on the hat like I have seen them do on last shows so I was half expecting her to be out on Sunday.
Brian Wanee was Chistery and he was the biggest Chistery I ever saw. He wasn't very vocal when he got his wings like most of them are but right before FG when the other monkey gave Elphie the note from Fiyero he was chatting with the other monkey. By chatting I mean sounding like a monkey and not regular speaking.
All in all it was one of the best shows I have seen and the best that I ever heard Julie in all the times I have seen her.
