To me, Katie fully understands the character. When she is spazzy in Act 1, it is fully in character, unlike certain other Glinda's who did it just for the laughs. And in Act 2, she makes Glinda a women, to me, Katie, Kristen, and Kendra fully undestand Glinda...must be something with the letter K haha

I'm jumping on the bus extremely late, but I absolutely loved Katie as Glinda. I had the oppurtunity to see her three times on tour and she is just incredible. Go see her on Broadway!
Oh, and her Thank Goodness is stunning.

well I saw her yesterday (finally won lotto!) I didn't find her necessarily spazzy but she did a few things which made me cringe. Her second act, though, was my favorite of all the Glindas I've seen. She also had great chemistry with the rest of the cast.
The bubble didn't come down when it was supposed to during NOMTW and whomever yells out "Look its Glinda" first adlibbed with something to the effect of "wait I think i see someone coming"-- too funny.
Just curious, what were the things that made you cringe?

I just got tickets to see the show in July, so hopefully Katie will still be there! She sounds amazing!
