^ laugh.gif I was there too, I hadn't seen it before either! tongue.gif I'll just blame you, Cat!

I wonder if I think enough about a flathead blooper right before a show starts, whether it'll happen... it's seriously my dream to see a flathead blooper!

I wasn't there but I know when Dee was really sick at the beginning of her NY run she tried to go on one night and barely made it through Wiz and I and Jenny had to go on. I felt bad for Dee because she really wanted to come back but I was extremely proud of Jenny for rocking it out at the Gershwin for those 18 shows smile.gif

Bahaha. Didn't someone make a quip about a switch during Act 2? Like, "Elphie, you've gotten so tall!" or something? I faintly recall hearing that.

Wasn't it Idina to LBB saying "Glinda you have gotten so tall' after LBB replaced Cheno?

Right before Christmas 2008 Marcie got really sick during Act 1 and I'm not sure if Julie or Chelsea went on, I'm thinking it was Julie since I remember asking Alex Brightman about it at SD.

Once on Broadway the regular witches mother(Kristen Leigh Gorski) was on for her scene at the beginning, in the lion cub classroom scene Lindsay Janisse was in the track and during OSD Samantha Zack was in the track(the photographer). That's the first time I ever saw 3 different people in the same track that the witches mother does.

I vaguely remember a story about Megan Hilty choking on a pretzel during intermission on tour and Laura Woyasz was thrown on for the first time mid-show. I believe it was in her first week or so of joining the tour, and she had to sort of wing it for the rest of the show.

Yep, August 14 was the night of the mid-show switch then. I was at the "Next to Normal" stage door and I heard some girls who were just at Wicked talking about it. I was at the matinée with Jenny as Elphaba the next day.

Yesterday for Teal Wicks's last show, Teal did the first act, Vicki Noon the second act. Also, on Tuesday I believe, Etai began the show as Boq and then during dancing through life his understudy, Jeremy Kocal, stepped into the role of Boq. Apparently Etai ate something that made him sick!!!
