Stephanie Torns just posted that she is making her Broadway Debut and joining the Broadway company in February!!!! CONGRATS STEPHANIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AMAZING NEWS! Stephanie has sooooo much talent!
Oh excellent. She's one of the most talented cast members around at the moment - I wonder what her role will be.

Well she's the understudy in the 1NT right now so maybe she will stay the understudy?? But I am soo excited for her!
Now I am officially stoked for March 13th lol...my guess is she may be the new u/s Elphaba (isn't Chelsea Krombach going to do "Promises,Promises" ?)

This is really good news! If she's not lead then I'd hope she's at least standby. However I do not know about Jenny leaving or anything like that, but I feel like this girl really deserves to go on more often than the understudy does on Broadway. So if we don't know which Elphaba she will be does this mean there still is a chance of another lead coming in as well..IE Mandy.

Stephanie is probably coming as understudy, since that's the only part that's opening up right now.....I think. Chelsea is leaving soon, isn't she? Either way, it's still a career bump up just to move to the Broadway company.
So thrilled for her! Hoping she's standby; Jenny could well be leaving as well since she's been there nearly precisely a year. But we'll see!
ugh! I am a little upset! She went on a lot more on tour than Chelsea Krombach did on broadway. She probably won't get to go on much! And she's wayyyy too talented to understudy. What a shame! Hopefully she'll replace Jenny.
You know, the producers seem to like Jenny - casted her as an Elphaba u/s when there was already one in Chicago (Dan'yelle), promoted her to standby, then to Broadway, let her cover Sydney, perhaps she might replace Teal (not that I think it should happen - I feel Vicki should), and Stephanie would replace her?

I still think she will be the understudy.... I don't think Jenny is leaving anytime soon.. which is fine with me
