I was watching CSI:Las Vegas, and the team had to go LA to investigate a crime scene at one of the studio lots in LA, and one of the stage buildings had the Wicked logo on the outside of the building...is the movie a work in progress, that no one knows about?

It's on the outside of one of the soundstages at Universal Studios; I remember seeing it on the studio tour. It's just an advertisement for the show. (NBC Universal owns the rights to it) And as far as I know, the movie plans have been put on hiatus.

Marc Platt Productions is part of Universal, hence why Universal has the rights to it, yes? So maybe Mr. Platt is just decorating his space with his production?

That could be, but it's placed in plain view of everyone who goes through the studio tour at Universal, so I think it's all promotional. You know, just to get it out there.

Elphie T. is more than likely right, especially since you say it is the logo for the show.

Yea, I mean, WICKED is one of Universal Studios most successful projects so I'm sure its promotional.

That sign has been up for about four years now. It lists the productions currently open, so I'm positive it's just promotional smile.gif

^ Bingo! (In the future, if anyone needs info on Universal Studios, ask me!)

Yup, been there for about 5 years. It just promotes the show, and it was only changed once, to add LA into it. They really need to change it as LA and Chicago are still listed on the bottom lol.

If it's been up for five years how could it have only been changed once to add the LA production? Did they have the Touring, Chicago, and London productions listed on there prior to them opening?
OzianWitch
^The sign was changed over time. They added to German, Australian, Japanese productions as they opened over time.
