I was just wondering if anyone had the playbill/programme ( not entirely sure of the difference between the 2, as we just have the 1 programme here in London) from when Kerry Ellis was Elphaba, and if you would mind copying/pasting what it says about her in the cast profile part.

Just interested to see whether she used the same bio has she did over here.

First, we pretty much just have one thing on Broadway too (usually referred to as the playbill). They do sell souveneir programs with lots of cast pictures, but they're not updated with cast changes (they're mostly of the original broadway and tour casts). Anyway, onto your real question:

Kerry Ellis (Elphaba). Training: Laine Theatre Arts. West End theatre includes Fantine in Les Miserables, creating the role of Meat in We Will Rock You, Eliza Doolittle in Trevor Nunn's National Theatre production of My Fair Lady. National tour: Ellen in Miss Saigon. Workshops: Way Beyond Blue, directed by Trevor Nunn, and the title role in Helen of Troy, directed by Gary Griffin. Kerry is delighted to reprise her role as Elphaba in Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre, having played the role at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London for the past 18 months, for which she won Best Takeover in a Musical at the 2008 Whatsonstage Awards.
