Walked into the house this evening after a fairly sucky shift at work and what is it that greets me?

My mother (for reasons that remain unknown to me) went to a flag factory today, which appears to be where they make the big banner/flag things they put up on the roads. Knowing my love of Wicked, she brought back three giant Elphaba flags and a small Glinda flag.

Needless to say, my day is now a whole lot better.

Any ideas on what I might actually do with three huge flags? The Glinda one is small enough to go on my wall or something, but the Elphaba ones are really long.

So, can you just purchase the flags?

Ha ha, they look great!! I think you could use them as bedspreads??? A wall hangning? Put them over doors? A shroud?

Well considering it's hanging from the top of the stairs and puddling at the bottom, I think it's a little tall for a wall hanging! The bedspread is a good idea though...

And you'll notice they say Capitol Theatre on them so they're the Sydney ones if that means anything.

Just spoke to my mum and apparently it was a shutting down sale - or at least a relocation sale - which is now over. My uncle is/was somehow involved in the relocation of the company. I can ring him tomorrow and ask if there are any more Wicked flags.

If not...well, I don't really need three giant Elphaba flags...

Emailed him - he says the Wicked flags were a limited run and all snatched up before the factory moved locations.
So bad luck there.

One of the three of you will have to go without I'm afraid.

I'm definitely interested, but only if you're willing to part with one. I wouldn't take it off you if you really wanted to keep it.

Amazing coo AnnaBee so happy you got and can picture your excitement!! Thanks for sharing not only pics but the flags! LOL how many times we all saw those flying up high on those poles and thought..... "How do I get up there to get one??" Ha I even remember putting my hands around the pole to attempt shaking one down! Head said "NO way STUPID!!"...heart screamed..."TRY....TRY!!!"
