Stage Entertainment announced that Anton Zetterholm will be taking over as Fiyero. He is most famous for originating the role of Tarzan in the German production of the Disney musical. I'm not sure on the exact date he's starting, the site just says his rehearsals start "middle of July".

¤ Ben Cox left. Terrence Rodia took over his ensemble track. His first performance was April 8.
¤ Bero Antunovic (swing + Fiyero u/s) left on May 23 and was replaced by Carl van Wegberg (his first Fiyero show was on May 28).

Wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but Jana Stelley briefly returned to Wicked at the beginning of the month - not entirely sure of the circumstances as to why, though. (Joana was absent, Valerie was sick, and Katrin was kind of sick, as well?)

Oh, and she was fabulous.

Of course she was.

Jana Stelley played 6 shows, July 1st - July 4th. She was called in as an SOS-understudy because Joana was on vacation, Valerie had been sick for quite a while and then Katrin got sick, too.

Anton Zetterholm's first show was on August 1st.

There's some pretty weird stuff going on in Oberhausen. First Jana, now this: Willemijn is sick, Roberta too; Melanie's having too many shows so they brought another former cast member - Sabrina Weckerlin is playing Elphaba at the moment, as per Ben Darmanin's tweet and her own. It's not certain how long she's staying, there are rumours she'll be on three more times this week.
