Kristin Chenoweth says that she is the most proud to have been part of
Wicked.

That was a very sweet thing of her to say. The show really could not have had any better person to originate the role of Glinda than her.

Aww, I love her, and I love that she's so gracious about all the fans who know her solely or primarily from this role. It seems some actors get annoyed or bitter when they become so associated with one role or show.

I agree. It really makes me lose a lot of respect for a performer if they do that. Lots of aspiring actors would love to be known, even for one thing, and they take it for granted.

Glad to see she hasn't forgotten what really MADE her. So many actors/actresses easily forget and let fame rush to their heads. And then they get so full of themselves. Go Kristin!

Wicked did
not make Kristin Chenoweth. I wouldn't call myself her biggest fan, but I recognise that the best of her work was probably pre-Wicked.

^I didnt MAKE her, but it certainly is her first BIG part, before, really the only people who knew of her were Broadway fans but now, she is a pretty decent sized star

best work does not equal her
most known work, and that is very likely
Wicked. I don't pretend that she was any kind of unknown before, but she definitely did not have the fan base or opportunities that
Wicked has provided her.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Not that it MADE her and was the first thing she ever did. But if you ask people where you know her from, chances are its going to be WICKED or Pushing Daisies as of lately. Many people are known for one major role, and WICKED is Kristin's. I honestly didn't know her beforehand but I can only imagine she was just as brilliant.
