Ok guys, this is a general info/questions thread (also containing the rules for both competitions) as each round of the competition will be locked.
There will be one banner competition and one avatar competition each time.
Rules for both competitions
1) One entry per member per competition (aka one avatar and one banner)
2) Entries are pmed to me (defying_limits) before the stated closing date.
3) All entries must be kept secret and cannot be used as your banner/avatar on this site or displayed on any other site until the end of the voting of that particular round
4) All entries must be credited for the purpose of this competition
5) Anyone trying to gain votes by bribing members or revealing which entry is whose, will be disqualified from ALL rounds of competition (voting will be done through polls on voting post)
6) Avatars must be 100x100 pixels and banners can be between 100x400 and 300x600 pixels (unless stated)
7) ANYONE can enter whether you are an experienced or novice graphics maker and you can use any graphics program
8) normal picture rules apply (see site rules) so NO illegal pictures!!! Check with a mod if you are not sure on any pic!!!
