Most of the poeple on here have seen Wicked more than once, and I would like to know what has been your favorite time you have seen it? The most memorable performance, best cast...etc.
My favorite has been ethier in New York with Marcie and Alli, simply because I was in the city seeing a brodway show.

Or June 26, '10 With Mariand because I won the lottery. Im leaning towards the New york one, what about you?

I'd have to say my first time. February 18, 2004. I went in almost completely "blind", so it was all new to me. I'd never been moved like that before. The entire cast gave A+ performances, and it started my love affair with the show.

I have enjoyed every performance of "Wicked" I have attended, but my favorite hands down would have to be March 2009 when I saw Nicole Parker and Alli Mauzey. They had great chemistry together and I got to meet them both after the show. Also, this was the day my ultimate dream came true...I got to go on the stage! I did not get a full tour of the whole backstage area, but, just going on that stage was enough for me! Nicole was such a doll. We talked on the stage for a little bit, and she signed my playbill and my dad took pictures. I left the Gershwin Theatre that day floating on air!

(D) Wow, it would either be when I saw it for the first time (the national tour in Rochester of 2008) Carmen was absolutely fantastic and since it was my first (and I had pretty good seats) I was a slobbering mess by "I'm Not That Girl" and the entire cast just made it a experience I will never forget. However, on April 21, 2010 I was able to sit front row at the DPAC and see the fantastic Vicki Noon and Natalie Daradich, and then was able to go to the cast party afterwards. So I think the DPAC would be the top winner, however only 4 days later I saw it in Rochester again (1st National) with my mom (her first time) sitting second row and she has put up with my WICKED obsession since 2003 and heard me and my sister (who went with me to the DPAC) rave about it daily, she wanted to see it for herself. Well to look over and see tears dribbling down her face during Donna's belt part in "The Wizard and I" made that night something special, esp. during the accent in "defying gravity" where she was completely awestruck. Also during that performence was my sisters birthday (the same one who saw it with me at the DPAC) so she took her husband and my nieces with her and they sat a few rows back from my mom and i, and after "Defying Gravity" they said they want to be in the shows at school and see WICKED again and see the next show coming to rochester made..so this made me very proud (mind you, they are 4 and 6 so they are pretty young and to see the show have that much of a impact really touched me)

Nice thread idea!
Mine would have to be seeing it on Broadway with Julia and Kendra in 2007. The show felt that much more special for it being the Broadway show. I'd been to NYC the previous couple of years but had other shows I wanted to see, Julia Murney was the reason I was seeing it that year and she was as phenomenal as I'd hoped. I rarely go to the stage-door and am not especially concerned on how actors react to that whole situation, but I really wanted to meet her and ask her to sign her album, and she was awesome.
Wicked-London-wise I reckon it would either be my very first time seeing it in September 2006 previews as it had felt like a long time coming, or one of the cover viewing times as some of them were especially exciting for me. Kerry's last, and the current cast going in were also great shows!

All of them! But just to name 2...
1. When I won the wicked lottery for the first time, on my first try, on broadway! I knew Mandy was gone, and I wanted to see Jenny, I got 2nd row and it was amazing!
2, When I saw Eden in June of 2010, and Felicia in April 2010 ! I didnt feel cool enough to see Eden, a much less meet her backstage! As with Felicia (who is hilarious in real life like she is on her blog) I was fortunate enough to go backstage both times! My sister got to try on Edens hat, I got to hold Felicia and Edens Act 2 dress, the grimmerie, and got to go on onstage. Oh yeah and dad being dad sang defying gravity onstage...so embarrasing!

I think my favorite experience was my 4th Los Angeles show. Eden and Megan had been out nearly the whole week because Eden was sick and Megan was shooting Desperate Housewives. So, I was kind of bummed that I might not get to see them a second time. Miraculously, they were on. Megan was top form. Eden was sick-- but sick for Eden still equates to brilliance. Raw energetic vocal power... and it was the strongest acting I'd ever seen!
And my worst experience was seeing it in SF last April... the seating at the Orpheum can be quite a rip-off. Let's just leave it at that.

I'm not sure I really have a favourite... but if I had to choose, it would probably be the most recent London cast change, March 27th 2010. They were my favourite all-round cast, and the cast I'd seen the most times, so I was so glad to be at their last show, and they were all on tip-top form! Alexia was the best I'd ever heard her vocally (her riffs were unbelievable), Dianne was hilarious in the matinee (and just plain fabulous in the evening; there was one very very sweet moment where she said 'I shall henceforward be known no longer as Galinda' where she just completely welled up), and Oli was just... Oli. Plus there was just a really great atmosphere since it was cast change and there were a LOT of fans there? It's just always nice seeing the friends I've met through the show, especially all of them at once, since I don't usually get to see them that often!
The first time I saw the show is pretty special, too... I don't think anything beats the magic and wonder of the first time you see it. I literally went in knowing nothing about the show, not even any of the songs, so I was just blown away by it.

I've seen the show 6 times (so far) and my favorite Wicked experience would have to be when I saw the show on October 1st, 2006 when Eden was on Broadway. It was such a wonderful time because I brought my good friend to the show for her first time and it was wonderful to share that moment with her.
But, all of my Wicked experiences have been great in their own way.

My favorite time seeing the show was in January 2008 (which would have been my 5th time seeing the show). It was the first time I ever saw the show front-row, and it was the first time I ever saw Stephanie J Block (who has now become my favorite Broadway performer). I also just found the Stephanie J Block/Annaleigh Ashford/David Burnham trio to be so magical. I've certainly enjoyed other casts since them, but no cast has made me want to go back again and again since those three were in the show together. It was also the first time I ever stage-doored for a show, and I still absolutely cherish that signed playbill, lol.

I don't think I can pick a number one experience, but my top 3 would probably be...
Wicked Day 2008 in LA. Though that's less about the performance itself, and more because my friend and I ended up getting a backstage tour before the show (for coming in second in the scavenger hunt).
Closing performance in LA. Absolutely amazing atmosphere from the audience, and great (and emotional) performances from the cast.
Kerry Ellis' last (May 2009). Kerry's my favorite Elphaba, and I was really lucky that I happened to be in London just in time to see her last, and even luckier that I was able to sit in the second row. And she held nothing back, fantastic performance.
Um, and I have to give an honorable mention to when I first saw Kendra, in March 2009... Because I was blown away by how much I absolutely loved her, and she's basically the perfect Glinda.
Yeah, clearly I'm bad at this narrowing down thing.

I would have to say the first time I ever saw the show back in 2005 with Stephanie, Kendra, and the rest of the original national tour cast.

I have gone 4 times and all have had their moments! But probably go with May 30th in Charlotte via tour 2, that whole day was just all-around memorable. Finally getting to see what everyone was talking about when it came to seeing Anne Brummel, being 3rd row back and being that close to the stage. Just amazing.
Durham is also up there too because so many said great and wonderful things about Vicki and Natalie together and they truly made that show a magical and memorable one.

Kerry Ellis's last show in London is my absolute favourite Wicked experience, and one of the best experiences in my life aswell. Of course the show was absolutely amazing, and hearing Kerry sing the score for the last time was really magical, but the best part was the atmosphere in the theatre. The applause and cheering (but the right amount, it didn't spoil the show) was just amazing, and to be in a room with thousands of people who have the exact same love as me was really quite special.
And then the first time I saw the show was also so special. I'd been a fan of the show for 2 years, since it first came to London and I stumbled across it, but being only 13 at the time and quite far away from London, it took me 2 years to force my parents to be able to go. I never thought I'd get there, so to see it live was really something.

Seeing it for the first time on Broadway with Alli & Nicole. Plus it was my first time ever seeing a Broadway show so it was pretty special. I met them both at the stage door afterwards aswell

Granted I've only seen the show twice, but I really can't decide which was better.
The first time was the second-last show for the OLC (my favourite cast). It was the muck-up matinee, so it was utterly hilarious and the cast was on incredible form.
The second time was during Kerry Ellis' final run in London, and as I had missed her the first time, seeing her at last was amazing, especially as she was on it. I only stagedoored on this occasion, and it was lovely to meet the cast and thank them for their performance.
Both unique experiences and hard to choose.

I have seen the show 69 times so it's kind of hard to narrow it down and they all have special moments . Some of my favs are:
-Annaleigh's last on Broadway. Steph's face during FG will always be burned in my memory.
-Seeing Dee in Chicago for the first time. I traveled 20hrs to see her and when she found out that I was from her homestate she got all excited. It was adorable.
-The first time I saw Julie Reiber. I just sat there in awe with my jaw on the floor.
-Chicago closing. So much emotion from the cast and audience.
-Nicole's last.
-Stephanie J. Block's last on Broadway
-Marcie's last on Broadway. Her and Alli were so playful throughout the show and made it fun for the audience to watch. The tears were flowing during FG though.
-Alli's last on Broadway. Poor Dee just broke down during FG which was kind of surprising since her and Alli were only together for 3 weeks.
As you can see last shows are filled with special moments since they are well...last shows.
