Why in the Grimmerie does it say they didn't predict Wicked to be a very successful musical before it came out? That breaks my heart.

because they are very silly and didn't see how many people would be able to connect with an amazing green girl and an amazing blonde girl from oz, of course! :-)

Partly because of the amount of money that it made to make back for it's investors to break even. On the Broadway DVD, they mentioned that it would have to play a year and a half straight (at the largest theatre on Broadway) to break even. It is very rare for a musical to play that long on Broadway.

The Grimmerie shouldn't suck at making predictions!! It is, after all, the GRIMMERIE..
