Hey RENTheads! I'd just thought I'd share my story of seeing the movie Rent and meeting ANTHONY RAPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So my friend and I get there and I saw him go into a little room, off to the side behind the boxes on the first floor. I told my friend and we both were really excited. He comes out and jumps on the stage (it was at the Byham Theater, a small theater here in Pitt.) and starts talking Pittsburgise and thanked us for coming and not going to the Steeler game. (they had a pre-season game at the same time) He jumped off the stage and they started the movie. RENTheads are CRAZY!!! They screamed whenever one of the main cast member's names came up and durring Seasons of Love they clapped along. It was that way the whole time, they were either singing along or saying the words along. REALLY annoying. So La Vie Boheme comes on and they get more darring. A group of kids- they all looked like they were in high school about, jumped on the stage and started dancing and singing along louder! An usher came down and they ran as fast as they could to their seats. They were pretty much good for the rest of the thing. When the movie was over, and the credits Anthony came back on stage and did a Q&A thing. I didn't get to see it because I was waiting in line for autographs, which he was going to come out and do after. But I did hear him sing Seasons of Love. (AMAZING!!!) He came out and the signing was quick. The girl infront of my friend and I asked if she could have a hug and he said no that he didn't want it to become a giant hug fest. I wanted an Anthony hug We got up to him and my camera had died (grrr my mom for having me bring hers and not mine) But I got him to sign this little Rent live thing I got at the Box office where I picked up my tickets. It was really cool, and he was soo nice about not letting us give him hugs and not letting us pose for pics. He just said them in the nicest ways. He was really sweet. It was soooooooo much fun and I can't wait to see Rent live, next weekend, when it's here in Pitt!!!

It was late, 11pm, my sister was at work, my brother was down in the basement, my parents were at the neighbor's house.
I'm in my room, door closed with my MP3. "Out Tonight" comes on. I stand up and cant resist dancing along.
So, it's up to "Aaaaawoooooot tonight, uh uh uh uh OWE!" When I start doing the humping motions to the bedpost when, tada, in walks sister.
I freeze, she just kinda stands there with a WTF look on her face.
"what are you doing?" She asks.
"Ah... It's Rent."
"Oh now I understand."
