Basically, I'm trying to figure out who was in which cast, and when, on Broadway (as well as tour/chicago/San Fran) so that I can build some sort of table-formatted history of the casts of Wicked, past and present. I just wanted to know if there was anywhere that had already attempted such a project and thus I could save some time.

Otherwise I'm going to have to beg the help of you guys! :ha: If that's the case, then I'll upload my progress so far tomorrow after work and would be very grateful if you could help me out! lol

Oooooh FANTASTIC! Just what I was looking for! Although, do you have any dates for the cast changes?

Wow, I missed Steph by twelve days. Argh! If we'd won the lottery I could have seen her!!! Darn it.
ElphieFabalaFae
Thank you guys! You're all brilliant! I'm going to bed now, and when I get home from work I'll let you know if I'm still missing anything, although I'm pretty sure, you have all now covered it! THANK YOU EVERYONE! :humpy:  :humpy: :drink: <-- on me!

Thank you! This will help me a LOT. I'm glad to see there are people as date-obsessed as I am!

A little nitpick, though--on the website you linked, you forgot Joey McIntyre! I know I'd like to (I still can't separate him from NKOTB), but there it is. Other than that, the website is great and very helpful.

I'm still having a problem with the standbys, though, specifically when they started--Wikipedia gives a good indication of when each standby left, but were all of them there from the beginning?
ElphieFabalaFae
The info from Wikipedia was very helpful! I've managed to get it looking like it actually makes some sense! :whoa: If I get a chance tomorrow I will try and convert into a web page, and then everyone can tear it apart and fill in the blanks/alters the mistakes! lol
ElphieFabalaFae
Okay, I've tried to tablize as best as possible, but there are still ??? all over the place. Here are the tables:

Broadway Cast

Chicago Cast

While getting the information for a variety of sources, I've ended up with two slightly different lists of Ensemble members. Can anyone help explain why? lol
US Tour Cast

This one definitely needs some work!
San Francisco Cast
Adam
what a lovely compilation... would you guys mind if we used it for the site here?
ElphieFabalaFae
Heads up I'll be putting it on my site, but yeah you're welcome to use it! Although it could do with being finished first lol! I think I've managed to include most sources in the list!
Adam
course, i'd give you guys credit where is due.
ElphieFabalaFae
Like pseudomaunt, I'm a stickler for detail and information! Especially when it comes to my passion/career! lol

Hi there

I am new to the forums, so I hope I am doing this right!

In regards to the Tour Company. I saw the show in Toronto (1st stop on the tour) and according to my "Programme" there is 1 missing and 1 extra Ensemble member on your list. (I am using the first Ensemble list you have.)

The Missing:
Don Richard (Witch's Father, Ozian Official u/s the Wizard and Dr. Dillamond) - moved to the Chicago cast when the sit down show started

The Extra:
Paul Slade Smith

Also can I be a little picky and say that it isn't the US Tour Cast - since they played in Canada (well Toronto anyway). Just my Canadian pride coming forth - how about just the Tour Cast?

Ceri
I forgot to mention that Kristy Cates was also part of the Toronto run. She replaced Stephanie J. Block after Stephanie crashed into the stage in what was supposed to be the entrance for "No Good Deed." Kristy played Elphaba for the first two or three weeks.

Yeah, she mentioned it on Cast Party, and just said how much it meant to her... but no date. I would've loved to see her--I bet she was awesome. But if anyone could find a review, at least, that would be super.

Y'all have no idea how much this thread excites me! I love lists!

Great! Thanks! It's always more difficult to track the ensemble. People never pay any attention to them! They NEVER get the appreciation they deserve, not over here anyway!

See, I totally forgot the fact that it was in Toronto! Sowwee! That's what happens when you're the wrong side of the pond!
