Was it the dwarf who hid the Grimmerie in Kiamo Ko? Because when Sarima was telling Elphaba about it, she never said anything about him being a dwarf.

I thought that she said it was an old man? One that told of stories of another world and whatnot. And then later in SoaW, whenever Liir saw an old man in a funny hat with an old book, I assumed it was the same old man with the Grimmerie (but I thought that perhaps it was a view of the past and of the old man originally delivering the book to Kiamo Ko).
But, yeah. I didn't think it was the dwarf.

That too, the man in Liir's vision. I don't think that was the Dwarf, nor do I believe that the dwarf delivered the Grimmerie to Sarima...then who, though?

Sarima never said anything about a dwarf...she said an old man. So I don't think it was the dwarf. Not everything in the book has to be connected. And a lot of things aren't...a lot of things are implied, and left for the reader to decide.

It was the Wizard, since only he knew about 'the other world', and since he didn't die in Wicked, after his suicide attempt.

If you haven't already, there is a lot of interesting discussion here:

About what the Grimmerie was, who could have brought it to Oz, and other stuff that flew right over my head the first time I read Wicked.

But in SoaW Liir sees an old man who had the Grimmerie when he left from Kiamo Ko wearing strange clothes...so maybe he wanted to see if he could read it....?
But also, when Elphaba was going back to Kiamo Ko. the Dwarf showed her how she came to be green...
