Which is your favorite?

gah, I love all the songs, but on stage I'd have to say I love Defying Gravity the most.

My favorite isn't up there. :-( I love I'm Not That Girl because that's exactly how I felt not that long ago and how I still feel sometimes. And that makes it really special to me.

Anyways, my favorite is No Good Deed, because that's how I feel sometimes.

Thanks SweetOz. There's one person who I think has the best one I've ever seen. Its the one where you see Elphaba just standing there and then she gets melted by a bucket of water. I was so captivated that I just stared at it for five minutes straight. I can't remember the name of the person who has it.

AAH! I couldn't choose between Defying Gravity and No Good Deed, but I chose No Good Deed by the random twitch of my hand. Both are beautiful songs and both are so strong and powerful and have so much emotion to them.

Ok, I added INTG but... I kinda messed up and then had to go back and fix it. Except my vote ended up going to DG instead, which is how I discovered I messed up. And I can't go back and fix that. So no vote for INTG. :cry:

OMG that is funny! Yeah I got a poster and my Grimmerie signed by Steph, Jenna, and Logan. I was so lucky I got a Grimmerie because I ended up seeing it on the 20th of October and that's the day they started selling them in the Ozdust Boutique and I didn't know that!

Defying Gravity and No Good Deed are my favorites. But I picked NGD on account of Sho's version...

I also love INTG, one of the songs I sing to feel depressed (yes, i feel better after feeling depressed, weird, i konw! :ha: )

i love defying gravity. it's the most thought-provoking. you can think about it and come up with all these theories and reasons why elphaba went a bit off her rocker. she still is sane, just going off the edge. dg is the beginning of it all.

I think Shoshana really brought No Good Deed to the top of my love list. The same with Defying Gravity and Wizard and I. Her riffs make me tremble and almost cry everytime I hear her.

I am a goner for when I see it live. I get tears in my eyes every time I watch Idina or Sho do Defying Gravity and "IT'S MEEEEE!" and hurtle up in the air and the audience applauds and Glinda has tears in her eyes. I get shivers all up and down me.

It's a very tough call for me between DG, NOMTW, Popular, DTL, & INTG! I can't choose!

Hmm, much as I love all the songs, I'd have to go with DG being my overall favorite.

I don't get it.... Not a ton of love for "I'm Not That Girl." Surprising- I haven't seen the show, but I constantly find myself coming back to that song. It's so brutal. Gah, I guess I'm just a sucker for Emo Elphie.

Although....if I had to pick my favorite part to listen to on the soundtrack, it would have to be all the little vignettes during the second half of "Dancing Through Life." The "We Deserve Each Other" bits. LOVE them. I wish there was a whole song written around those few bars.

The whole Nessa/Boq/Galinda/Fiyero/Elphie thing is pretty insane. The book didn't really play on that dynamic the same way, so I guess I'll need to see the show and like those sections even more.

/still convinced Boq + Elphie would have been a really good idea

I chose DG just because that is like the defining song of the show and my life. :ha: Also, I still get chills whenever I listen to it.

Second runners-up would have to be NGD and NOMtW (only because Glinda's part makes me teary every time, especially live, and it's just so powerful and perfect).

Can you really pick a favorite song? I don't think I could do it. All these songs are great but my favorite would have to depend on who's singing and then everything would change. You know?

I chose No Good Deed. I think every Elphaba really makes that song their own, which is hard to do with a lot of the other songs, besides Defying Gravity. But the problem with DG is that it's either awesome or painful.

WWotE is my favorite, and I'm bummed it's not on the sound track. oh well, I have it ne ways. lol. but I love when nessa sings and you can hear elphie singing the underlying spell in the back ground. I love it!

FOR GOOD! Is my favorite favorite, but all of the songs are my favorite songs, they one I like and don't like change all the time, like I used to despise Thank Goodness and Ancing through life, but now I like LOVE them!
