is Liir in the show? I haven't seen it. I'm waiting for Jan 2006 to see it! :-(

No, it is missing many things from the book. It's a good thing you read the book first though, because you wouldn't like it as much if you saw the show first and then you were disappointed in the difference. It's easy to go from the book to the show, but going from the show to the book ends up being a disappointment in the way it ends.

When Jan 2006? Are you going to get to see Sho before she leaves? She's SO Good Live!

I went from Musical to book and I liked both. 2 of my friends went from book to musical and didn't like the musical. If you are "book" person, then don't read it first.
Ex. If you say "Harry Potter books are AMAZING! The movies are horrible!". you might want to watch the musical.
Um. If you know about Liir, I'm assuming you already read the book. Just go with an open mind. Have fun!

I was vaguely disappointed in the show at first because I ferociously loved the book, but I got over it

I still enjoy most of the musical and I try not to think too hard about what grates on my nerves;)

The biggest thing that bugs me is that Avaric is Fiyero's servant instead of his friend. It's like they named the servant after him just so they could include another character from the book. Really bugs me.
