AHHHH OMSJB, IT WAS AMAZZZZZZIFYING!!!!

So, at the beginning of the show I saw someone poking there head out and I was like, "OMSJB!! IS THAT SHO?" but then I realized that it wasn't and I was like THAT MUST BE HER MOM!!! And I was TOTALLY right. They don't look a ton alike, but they're smiles look EXACTLY the same, so when she smiles she looks exactly like Sho!!!!

Oh and the reason why Sho was there was because her mom teaches at ACMA, for anyone interested. Which I find SO COOL!!

So, we sat down to find out we were actually in the FIRST ROW. And I was like WOAH that's close!! Hahaha. So unfortunately, I did not video tape or take pictures because I was so close I would have to hold it up really high. BUT i did record an AUDIO of the whole Sho part!!

The dancers were actually amazing, very original and creative, I loved it. But of course I was on the edge of my seat on the performace before intermission because i HAD to find out whether I was going to meet Sho.

After waiting in line for the bathroom (ONE bathroom ugh) I went up to the usher and asked if there was a stage door where I could meet Shoshana after the show. She pointed the stage door to me out through the window. When i asked her if she knew Shoshana would be coming out there she said she didnt know.

Her: But there is a group of people over there who were talking about her, I bet you could ask them.

I look over and see her mom. So I call my sister to come with me but she laughs. So I look helplessly at the usher, and when im not looking she goes up to some people who were talking to Sho's mom

Her: Do you know if Shoshana will be coming out the stage door
Them: Oh I don't! Do you want to meet--?
Her: No, those two girls there *points at me*

I take this as my cue
Me: Hi, I'm Meg.
Them: Oh are you a Shoshana fan?
Me: Hahah YES. Is that why you're here?
Them: Yes! But I come here every year, too.
Me: Oh, ok! Do you know if Shoshana is coming out after the show?
Them: No, I don't but you can ask her mother. *gestures to her mom right next to us talking to someone else.*

So I stand next to Shoshana's mom, and I REALLY don't want to interrupt. So when it seems like she's done talking, I tap her on the shoulder.

Me: Hi are you Shoshana's mom?
Her: Yes I am!
Me: I was wondering if there was somewhere I could meet Shoshana after the show?
Her: Oh! What's your name?
Me: I'm Meg. I have something I want to give her
Her: Oh, you do?! Well, I'm pretty sure she's going to be in the lobby. I'll go backstage and make sure.

So my sister and I wait outside just in case she looks for us after. She didn't though. She walked past us so I assumed Shoshana said yes. After that I think I said about 20 times "I can't believe I talked to Shoshana's mom"

OK so now her performance. Ahh it was AMAZING!! She sang Stone by Stone and WAI. Of course it was though. I was SO excited to hear her! I don't know if I can post the audio I recorded in this section, so if a mod will let me know. Otherwise I'll just post it in the MTF. You can PM me too. I'd go more into it, but you can hear it for yourselves!

EDIT: AHH i forget which part but in the WAI she tripped over her heels, she caught herself, but she let out this little laugh it was so cute!

So at the end of the show my sister and I went out to the lobby and waited for about 10 minutes. Shoshana's mom was out there a little beforehand, but finally Sho came out. AHH so I went up to her but she was ALSO in a conversation. So I stood there for what seemed like FOREVER (ok 2 minutes) while these little boys asked her to sign the PROGRAM.

Eventually I mustered up the courage to talk to her.
[insert big idiot grin]
Me: Hi Shoshana! I have something for you!
Her: Oh you do?!
Me: Yes. First, here are some Red Vines. And..*digs through purse* hands her a little box with earrings (which i TOTALLY forgot to take a pic of! I got em from Express, pink and silver danglies)
Her: Oh thank you!
Me: Yeah! And will you sign some things for me?
Her: Sure! And thanks for the little goodies!

*takes pictures out of envelope*
Me: I came prepared
Her: *laughs* (my sister says that got a good laugh lol) I see that. What's your name?
Me: Meg!
*signs it*
Me: Haha...another one too...
Her:*laughs* who for?

(IM SOOO SORRY SHARON!! I FORGOT YOUR NAME!! LOL Sorry meeting Shoshana does that to people! LOL i only remembered Megan's because it was my own. I knew it was either Sharon or Susan but I didnt want to take a chance!!! LOL)

Me: Er...I can't remember her name. But she was going to come tonight but she got sick so I told her I'd get her an autograph.
Her: *nods* *signs* (she may have said something but i was in awe)
Me: aaaand one more!
(her mom now comes up behind her and says "awww" when she sees the pics)
Her: *laughs* OK! Who this time?
Me: This is for Megan! Different Megan, not me again! I promise!
Her: *laughs* Well thank you so much!

Then she gave me the best hug ever
Her: Have a great night!
Me: You too!!

And then she started talking to someone else. So we left. It was just about THE best night EVERRRR!!!

Megan and Sharon, I will mail your autographs on Monday, probably! MAYBE tomorrow, I'll try!! :mrgreen:

bybubble: ACMA stands fr Arts and Communication Magnet Academy. It's like an artsy school (middle schoo through high school) in our school district.


And yes, I had an awesome time! It was so incredible, and im just so thankful I got to go.
