Yeah, I knew she was a natrual dark brown brunette. Thing is, she refers to herself as a blonde, now. Her hair is also... dyed blonde. So at least for the time being, she's a blonde, not a brunette. ;-)

Okay, and I almost cried when I woke up. Get this--I have a dream I finally get to see Wicked again (since it's looking like I won't be able to see it until July 2007 unless I convince my sister and her boyfriend to take the train with me to NYC). I get into the Academy and take my seat, and for some reason the show's already going. Of course it's... not... right because my sleeping brain doesn't like to remember things nicely. Elphaba comes out and darn it if the people running the thing forgot to mention she was being played by an understudy. No Julia. Broke my little heart. And this is just a dream.

And Eileeno671, gah! It was supposed to be just Julia? I feel bad, because that was a really good label for a just-Julia thread, too!

Okay, I'll give more than that. She's got lungs of steel and can act the hell out of anything. She's really a great Elphaba--very true and gives a very honest and real interpretation of her. I've heard people say she seems too old for the part or whatever, but she's really not. It's just that people are so accustomed to the young doe-eyed actresses that frequent the Elphie role. Her nuances as Elphaba are flawless.

You'll love her.

i sent it to boston last saturday...but just the theatre...not the stage door...it was the address PopularGalinda got replies from

I haven't actually tried writing to her (yet) but people here seem to get replies from the cast at least 2 weeks to over a month from the day they sent the letter.

julia is one of the most talented performers ive ever seen. she is also one of my favorite elphabas (having seen her 3 times).

i only wish her the best of luck. she has a HUGE career ahead of her.
