Thought it was cool to see pictures of Idina going on with the show after being injured in her last day of performing:

What don't you get? The performance before Idina Menzel's last performance she had a bit of an accident during the melting scene and broke her ribs and couldn't finish the show so she was replaced by her understudy for the last few minutes of that show and all but the last few minutes of what was supposed to be Idina's last performance. But because it was supossed to be her last performance she came out during the very last scene in this red jogging outfit thing. If you look at the pictures she looks like she might be wearing the green makeup but I don't believe she was, I think it was just the lights. But I thought it was really neat that she came out for the last scene of her last performance. I wish I could have been there. *sigh*

Oh, thanks snowie!
Adam~ She fell through the trap door during the melting scene. There's supposed to be this elevator or something that lowers her down through the trap door and I guess it had already started going down when she was supposed to start melting. I guess she must have missed the thing or probably misjudged the distance since it was lower then it was supposed to be. Anyway, she fell and broke a couple of ribs.

Agreed. Idina IS hardcore! I think that was really cool that she came out for the last scene even though she was injured.

I really think this article is great.
http://www.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=1934It talks about her fall and then her last performance where she came out and sang even though she was in pain. Just reminds me of the saying, 'the show must go on'. No kidding.

Now that's what you call dedication. Singing must have hurt like hell, having to take all those deep breaths and so on. And what a beautiful speak Joe gave! A combination of that and the pictures made me want to cry!

I would absolutely love to find a video from her very last night, from the time she came onstage all the way through all the speeches and hugs and such. It would make me cry, though. But I wouldn't mind.

My friend was at her last performance! I was SOOOOOO jealous of her! She said that she couldn't even hear what was going on at the end because of all the screaming.
You mean the speeches at the end of the show? Or an interview of her tlaking about it??? BTW-This is xWicked_Elphabax...I forgot to log in and I need to go to school! lol!
Also....Google Idina's Last and you can get the second Act of Wicked with Sho and Idina comes out and it's so great! lol!
However, it doesn't have the speeches, just her singing and curtain call. I wish they had the speeches!!!! *Cries*
Anyhoo...."Fellow Ozians....I LOVE IDINA MENZEL!!"
