Ok...I didn't send one when I wrote to her....I didn't even think about it. Thats probably why I haven't gotten anything back ( I wrote to her in Late-March)...so, I sent a general letter to the Cast, asking for an Eden pic, but I ssent a SASE.

I didn't send a SASE when I sent the general letter, but I will send one with my next letter to Eden; it does make things easier for them.

I sent my letters about two weeks before Megan left, and I just got that picture from Eden. Still nothing from Megan...

I sent mine to Megan about 3 weeks before she left and then I left something at the stage door for her about a week before she left and nothing yet, but it's fine.

WOOHOO! I got a signed playbill today -- literally a week after I sent it. It's signed by all of the current principal cast members including Kate *thumbs up* :rock:

I was a little surprised with the letter they attached with it -- it was personalized with details I put in my first letter to Eden...*wonders*...*shrug* Who cares? That was really nice of them

If you're asking what to write, address a general letter to the cast/crew and include whatever you want to say. Many people will include a request for something signed, and they usually oblige with a playbill signed by the principal cast. Hope that helps.

That seems to be a matter of choice if you are sending a general letter to the cast/crew. I didn't send one and they still sent me a playbill. If you are only asking for a playbill, I don't think you have to. They send it in a special envelope (lined with bubble to protect the playbill) anyway.

If you are writing to a specific cast member and request something signed, a SASE is a good idea.

how long does it take to get it?

That seems to vary. I received my signed playbill exactly 7 days after sending it. (Sent it on 6/14 and received it 6/21)

Are the pictures small that they give out?? If your envelop is too small do they send another one thats bigger??

The Broadway cast has 5x7 production prints, so they fit right in with the Playbill (if you get them when you write to the cast and crew). Otherwise, cast members are usually equipped with properly-sized envelopes.

Yeah, I think Jenna Leigh Green is the only the one that sounds incredibly large pics. I think 8 x 10 someone said.

For those that send SASEs when they right to the cast (for pics), do you send the type of envelopes they would send or just an envelope that is of proper size?

i sent a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 for Jenna. do you think she'll reply reply even though she has to use a different envelope?

Yeah, Jenna has 8x10 photos because she uses her pics from the tour. For some reason they gave the touring cast huge promo pics...

If worst comes to worst, she may cut down the pic so that it will fit in the envelope (Julia did that for someone here). But if she has her own envelopes, she'll probably just use one of them. I'm sure she'll respond to you either way.

When I send a SASE, I usually send 6x8 mailers that are padded with bubble wrap. If I don't send a SASE, though, they just send regular envelopes (that is, ones that aren't padded or anything). Another alternative is to send them stamps and a sticker with your address on it, so if you have no idea what size envelope they'll need, they can just grab one of their own and stick the stuff on it.

For my next letter, I'll probably be sending a big envelope with bubble lining to Eden and am sure I can fit the 6x8 envelope in there with SASE.

When I sent my letters to both Megan and Eden, I just used a regular Hallmark-sized envelope and folded it in half and put it in with my letter. Both of the girls used the envelope that I sent, though Eden did write "DO NOT BEND" on the outside of hers. I received her picture without any trouble, and it was in perfect condition.

I've never sent fanmail to anyone on broadway and i was going to send one to Eden sometime soon. Are there any specific things to do? I just planned on sending a letter in and a few bucks in it incase she had time to sign a pic and mail it back. Help...?

First off, It's best if you send a SASE(Self addressed stamped evelope) so it's easier for Eden. Secondly, just write and and don't be afraid to ask for an autograph. If you want a specific picture, just ask.
