I don't mind getting the 6x8 envelope with bubble lining this time around because I can't trust that it won't get bent LOL (I wrote to one of my favorite soap actors one time and received a package with a 'DO NOT BEND' stamp on it...it was slightly bent, but I'm not that picky, and it was a large 8 x 10 pic anyway). Besides, I'm sending her a couple of things along with my letter and will be including that in a larger bubble-lined envelope.

I got mail from Derrick! I'm so excited!

In my letter to Eden, I did what any other fan does, I praised her for her talent and thanked her for the hard work she puts in. I also told her I draw inspiration from her work, even though I'm not a performing arts student (ha, lets just leave it at that) and expressed my hope to meet her soon one day.

Just be honest and thoughtful and I'm sure they'll appreciate the sentiment.

Writing to someone doesn't guarantee an autographed picture, but yes, a lot of Broadway stars do have their own promotional photographs that they can send out. If they don't have any from their show, they also may send you their headshots.

How long does it take Eden to write back? Cuz, I'm writing her this weekend...

People said usually 2 weeks.....I wrote her about a week ago, and I haven't gotten anything. I'm still waiting....I got a picture of her from the cast and crew, but it wasn't personalized, so I wrote to Eden herself.

I sent letters yesterday to Eden, Kate, Carol, Jenna, Sean, and a general cast letter for another playbill now that Kate has joined. I'll post again when I get responses.

I wrote Eden a letter last night and I'm going to send it out tomorrow. I was thinking of making her something, but I suck at drawing. My 7 year old brother could probably do better than me. Lol....I'm such an idiot. Last night, I wrote 8 people in all the casts, and then put it in the mailbox. I forgot the mail didn't run today.

I sent a letter to cast in general.

Everyone at the SD wanted Carol to come out but the guy guarding the door said Carol NEVER comes out. Not even at night.

I'm still waiting for Eden.. I sent mine about a week ago. I think I might sned one to Kate and Derrick too.

Tomorrow I am sending out ones to Carol Kane, Sean McCourt, and Anthony Galde.

I think it's been 3 months for my Megan mail and about 5 for Eden's, I gave up on her and 1 and 1/2 months for Michelle.

That's how I got my signed playbill too. How does Carol go out if she doesn't go through the stage door? Does she wait for everyone to leave inside the theatre then go out the front?

There must be a way to sneek them out.

You really need to re-send Eden's. If it's taken that long, it has gotten lost or something. Eden is really great at being prompt, and it only took 3 weeks for mine on the other side of the country.

Would people get in trouble if they waited outside that door?
