Ok so today I saw Wicked and I was going to get a backstage tour with Anthony Galde. So we were standing at the stage door before the show (and I met Sarah, gravity_defier on these boards) and my mom called him. So he comes out and he goes "I have to go to the grocery store, when I get back I'll take you back there." So me and my mom were like "....Oooookay..." So he comes back with this bag full of like cupcakes and stuff and goes "Ok let's go in!" So we go in the stage door and he presses the button for this elevator and while he's doing that, he's reading this bulliton board. It was filled with things like peoples birthdays, and notes for the cast, and when their rehersals were. So we get on the elevator, and the doors are about to close and I hear "WAAAAIT!" and EDEN ESPINOSA GETS IN. So I'm standing there going "Ohhhhh Myyyyy Godddddddd!" and she just looks at me and laughs and says "sorry, that just reminded me when this boy met me a while ago and he was like flipping out hehe!" So we get off the elevator and Eden stays on it since she had to go up one level. So I was walking and looking back at her and she just smiled and waved. We went into Anthony's dressing room and he starts putting all the cupcakes and stuff out on a table because apparently they were all going to have a party in there or something haha. So I was walking around and he was like "try this on!" and he hands me this ensemble costume. So I put it on and got a picture with it and stuff. We were leaving his dressing room and near the wall in the hallway were all the understudies dresses so I was looking at them and my mom turns around and goes "there she is again!" and points into Anthony's dressing room. And he goes "hey Eden! Can you get a picture with these people?" so me and my mom got a picture with Eden! This was like a half hour before the show, so I was like "shouldn't you be getting ready?" and she was liek "I don't really need to get ready until like 10 minutes before the show starts." Then Anthony was going to take us backstage, and we were walking past the dressing rooms. I looked inside Megan's but she wasn't in there. I was like "where's Megan?" and some lady next to the door was like "She's warming up in her bathroom." haha! We kept walking down the hallway and Jenna is going the opposite direction. So I yelled "OMG JENNA!" and she looked at me like she was trying to figure out if she knew me. (I think I kind of scared her...) We got a picture with her too. We went on the stage, which is really small when your standing on it. It's also tilted down, one of the reasons why Shoshana ran literally right off the stage. He said that she's really tough, so it was funny that she did that. She was really mad after and she was like cursing and stuff haha. We were leaving to get off stage, and we pass this little box filled with green tickets. (The ones they give Elphaba and Glinda during One Short Day) And he picks one up and hands it to me to keep. Then we went into the wig room, where all the people who put the wigs on the other people are just sitting around reading magazenes. My mom was like "why isn't anyone getting ready? Isn't it really close to the show?" and they were like "Oh no, we don't rush until like 10 minutes before the show." So he was like "Ok that's about it.." and I was like "WAIT! Do you think I could see Megan?" and he was like "Sure!" So we walked back to Megan's dressing room, and he told us to wait around the corner to see if she would let us go in. She said it was ok, so he came back and got me and my mom and let us in her dressing room.
Megan: Hi! I'm Megan!
Me: OMG! I know! *hugs* (She gives the BEST hugs)
Megan: Oh here sit on my couch and talk to me for a while!
Me: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Can you sign my Grimmerie?
Megan: Sure! But I'm not in it, do you want an autographed picture?
Me: YES! Omg I'm so excited to see you before you leave! Did you know that you accidentally wrote that you were leaving on the 18th instead of the 28th to someone?
Megan: *makes the cutest face EVER and covers her mouth with one hand and her eyes get all big* Ohmygosh. I did?! Well maybe that's because I was originally going to leave a week sooner? I don't know!
Me: Maybe! I really wanted to ask you, you know that extra high note you do in Thank Goodness sometimes?
Megan: MmHmm.
Me: Do you think you could do that this show?
Megan: Sure!
(And she actually did it during the show!)
Megan: Oh do you want to see my bubble gown? (she goes to her closet and gets it out and shows me)
Me: Isn't it really close to the show? Shouldn't you be getting ready?
Megan: Oh no, I get ready like 10 minutes before the show.
Me: Ah it's the bathroom door from Sho's video!
Megan: The one on YouTube?Oh god.. I wish she would have told me what that video was for! I just get out of the shower and she sticks this video camera in my face! Then she goes putting it online!
Me: :ha: ...Oh! Mikhala's purse. You know all about the duct tape society, right?
Megan: yeah! See, here's my basket full of ducks and this girl outside the stage door just gave me this duct tape society shirt! (Sarah)
Me: COOL!
Anthony: Ok well we should be going.
Me: *hugs megan again*
So then he took us back up to the lobby and I started jumping up and down.
